"What is going to happen to me?" I ask the doctor.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

"You need surgery on your vitals in your upper torso. Your heart looks like it has been scratched slightly by the blade."

 

[Beary]

"Delightful." I scowl.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

I squeeze her hand lightly, smiling at her. "You're going to get better, hang in there. I will be waiting out here for you."

 

[Beary]

I nod, with tears in my eyes. "How long will the surgery be, doctor?"

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

"About an hour or so. It depends one how bad the wound is."

 

[Beary]

I wince. "Alright then. Tell me what I need to do."

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

"We are going to give you some drugs that will help you sleep. When you wake up, you should be in bed and better."

 

[Beary]

"Okay." I say, shaking slightly. I have never had surgery or anything like it before, and the though made me nervous.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

"I will see you when you wake up." I tell Cindra, kissing her on the forehead lightly as the doctor takes her away.

I sit beside Cindra in the hospital room, waiting for her to wake up.

My eyes slowly open to see Fein sitting next to me. "Fein?"

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

"I'm here." I say grabbing her hand lightly. "James and Alex ran off, they are probably causing havoc somewhere. But I stayed right beside you the whole time."

 

[Beary]

"Haha. Thank you, really. I feel much better now, it hardly hurts at all. "

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

"That's good. But if there is any pain, we need to keep your mind off it." I smile, and brush hair out her eyes.
