I sigh. "Fine." I take the girl to a room where I start fixing her up.

After getting fixed up, I limp out the room and grab the air to steady myself. "I think I'm okay now... Want to go back?"

"Sam, what the hell have you actually been doing while Alex and Aions were both seriously injured on your stupid assignments?" I ask him.

I look around, still distracted by the darkness.

"Yeah, let's go." I stumble a bit, but open the door for everyone.

I walk out the door with the others, feeling a little tired, but a lot better.

I grab Aions' hand to steady him as we leave, since he stumbles quite a lot.

"Tripping off alarms in the headquarters," I say. "If I didn't, there was a good chance we would've been captured, reinforcements would've been sent in."
