I see Claire and instantly look away and go to storm off. "Screw this." I snap but James grabs my arm.
"No, we need to talk about this."

"I can't read someone else's letter... That feels wrong..."

"I ain't talking to... Her..." I mutter and yank my arm free, but don't run. "I hate her."

"So you brought me here just so you could-"
"Yes. Something needs to be fixed. Badly."

I sigh, open up the letter, and read it aloud. "Shady. We have your brother. If you want him back, come to us. If you don't, he dies."
I look at the letter for a moment. "It's not signed or anything, do you know what it means?"

I clench my fists. "I said, I'm not gunna talk about this, she hates me, and I hate her. She is jealous and pathetic."
"Alex, calm down."

" the people who experimented on me" I say realising that it was them all along and then I said " I must go back and save him"

"Maybe we should go get Alex and the others, I think they're good fighters, and you can't barge in alone to try to rescue Luke..."

Tears stray to come to my eyes as I say " I can't risk use getting hurt as well willow it will be safer if I go alone"
