The wind had failed to blow it away, so I tried to freeze it. It didn't seem to freeze, it just slowed down briefly. "Nothing works!" I shout, unsure of what to try next.

I enter the fog and look around. "COME OUT!" I call but nothing responded. I felt a pain shoot through my body. "Agh!" Some invisible force was in here. "What's going on?"

I go limp, and my eyes close almost against my will.

"Okay!" I call back to Misa. As I turn, I feel something grab my shoulder from behind. "GET OFF ME!" I turn to fight what ever grabbed me, but nothing was there. Unable to move I feel a force choke me. "H---help!" I let out a little cry as I fall to my knees.

"Alex!" I shout, hearing her hit the ground. What on earth is going on?!

Panicking, I try shooting ice at the smoke, then water, then fire. Nothing affects it. "Nothing's happening! What do I do?!"

I feel my life drain away, but the force suddenly stops. "Wha..." I feel my self being lifted up. "Who?"
"Did you miss me?" I chuckle as I pick Alex up, I ran in to save her. I carry her out and I rejoin the others.

The sun peeks out from behind a cloud, and the smog shrinks back.

Use light against it! I want to scream. But I can't move!

I see it retreat a little as the sun pokes out past the clouds. That's it! Light!

Rather than shooting fire directly at the smog, I create a very large flame in front of it, creating as much light as possible.
