Good afternoon, everyone. It's time for my two cents. This morning while I was prepping myself for the day, there was a knock on the door and Mitzi followed.

Gee..thanks?
We chatted for a bit, and she gave me a Stripe Sofa, which I happily got to check off my catalog. She also complimented my Paulowina Closet, like pretty much everyone who comes in my house does. I guess I'm not the only one who thinks it's a pretty nice item.
Fortunately she had no desire to see any more rooms, so she left rather quickly and I could get on with my day.
I had a couple of letters, one from Felicity thanking me for letting her see my house yesterday with an accompanying Humidifier, which also was a new addition to my catalog. The other was from Wart Jr., just telling me that he appreciates me. I love getting nice letters like that; they really brighten up my mornings.
Proceeding on with my walk, Wart Jr. was the first of my villagers I ran into. This is generally the case, if not Mitzi, since the delegated path I take passes by his house second, just after Mitzi's. He called me over and told me that he was trying to get rid of the Incense Burner he bought on impulse yesterday. Um, I believe you've had an Incense Burner sitting in your house for at least a month, Wart Jr. so I'm not so sure you're telling me the truth. I bought it off of him anyway, since he was only asking for 500 bells and it was the least I could do to make him happy after he sent me such a lovely letter.
Just beyond Wart Jr.'s house, I noticed that two more flowers were missing around the fire hydrant beside the Town Hall. Pansies this time. And I know for a fact that I checked on that bunch yesterday, since my daily path takes me right by said flower patch without reason for a detour. I'll have to lock down the security in that area and see if I can catch who/whatever is doing this.
After that, the rest of my walk continued unimpeded so I collected and sold my findings rather quickly. Now my ore rock yesterday was a gold nugget and that made the third in my collection, so I went over to see what Cyrus had cooked up for me this time. It was a Golden Bench, which I must give him credit for not making as often as say the Bed or the Man/Woman. However I already had a Golden Bench, so I was rather disappointed and sold it to Reese for a good 9,000 bells.
Upon emptying my pockets at Re-Tail, I proceeded to make my way north towards Main Street for my daily shopping. I ran into Deirdre on the way and asked her what she was up to. She suggested going to my house promptly for a visit, so I conceded. I've been making sure to do every little thing Deirdre asks of me lately. I really want those PWPs!
So to my house we went. We chatted for a bit and she asked to see some other rooms. Eventually we ended up back in my Ice Room.

Ha ha, I get it. Because Ice Room? She's so witty.
Then she added:

...Mitzi was literally just here this morning. And she had a really good time.
If I recall correctly, Deirdre said that exact same thing the last time she came over. What is it about Mitzi? I don't get it.
Anyway, after Deirdre saw all there was to see she figured it was time to go.
Trying again to make my way to Main Street, I found Chief and he told me a package addressed to Deirdre was sent to his house instead. Gah, again? So I ran down to where I'd found Deirdre just earlier and gave her the package, for which she rewarded me with a Corseted Shirt, another new item for my catalog.
After that I finally made it up to the shops. T&T had a new carpet for my catalog, Abel Sisters' had a shirt and a pair of pants, and Kicks had a pair of shoes. Pretty good haul today. I also made sure to get on with ordering a present for Lolly, since her birthday is now tomorrow and allows me no more time to procrastinate. I figured I should go ahead and order Felicity's present and get that out of the way, too. I consulted the birthday guide and learned that Lolly's favorite items are yellow-colored and safe, whatever that means. Felicity's loves things that are beige and fancy. I finally decided on a Blue Table for Lolly, since whenever I want to get her something I'm always for some reason inclined to go with blue. I ordered a Citrus Tee for Felicity, since I think it would look good with her hair. Hopefully these will be good enough for my amazing friends.
Now for a Roost update. Whitney was first, again, go figure. Buck was second, and I realized that the coffee he prefers is the same as Whitney's. Which is also the same as Lolly's, Mitzi's, and Becky's. Is Mocha/little milk/one sugar a popular mix, or what?
Teddy was the random visitor of the day, and he requested a blend roast. I guessed at a regular amount of milk and two sugars, and that was just the way he likes it.
Isabelle followed up the rear, and again gave me no hints as to what she likes. I knew she prefers lots of milk and doesn't like blend, mocha, or three spoonfuls of sugar. I tried a Kilimanjaro roast with two sugars, and she said neither was right. So that means she likes Blue Mountain coffee, with either one sugar or none.
Lastly, I organized a bit more of Lily's upstairs and with the addition of the remainder of my Pave set, her house has reached 50,000 HHA points. I was awarded a Silver HHA Plaque, which I don't really need for anything at the moment but will save regardless. Assessing the progress on her house, I realized that there isn't as much to do as I thought there was. There's still a lot to do, but less than I anticipated. So that's motivating. Anyway, that's enough rambling for the day. I'll be back tomorrow, hopefully with some more updates on the house.
