Another day, another post! Today I decided to change my outfit, no matter how much I liked my dress and floppy hat. It might have been getting a little smelly, anyhow. 
I went much more casual today, and even decided to stop in Shampoodle's for a lighter summer color on my hair.
First of all though, I found another tent at the campsite. This must be the season for camping trips! Today's camper was Lucha, the wrestler bird (robin?). She was nice, but I didn't stay to chat much. Buck wanted to start calling me Bethers, but I told him to stick with Shorty.
I found Melba out and about for the first time today. At first she was talking about how lonely living on your own can be, typical post-move, new-town feelings I suppose.

But my villagers were so sweet and welcoming to her yesterday, and apparently she noticed. I'm so proud of them.
My fake rock was a sapphire, and later Greta "heard a rumor" that I had one. She offered a shirt for it, and I turned down that terrible trade. I wasn't going to let her have it for a good price, either.
I caught a flea off of Deirdre, then agreed to get some signatures for her Communal Candy Supply petition. Eventually one of my friends came online and had me over for a bit and I easily got all six signatures. My reward was a Reversi Piece, which was a new addition to my catalog.
At Re-Tail, I decided to take Whitney's customized Baby Bear down and mail it to her. I hope she'll be happy to have it back, and it'd be even better if she replaced her Giant Dharma. But no, she'll probably replace her Makeup Case. Just watch.
I attended the ceremony for our new Flower Arch, then reorganized the path and flowers around it some. After that, Buck wanted a Goliath Beetle but I had to turn him down. I found Fang and Whitney shopping at the Emporium today, then later found Chief walking around with Melba. Must have been showing her around some of town. ^^
I talked to Isabelle about having the Tower demolished, since it's the least appropriate PWP I have set up right now. And I need room for some other different PWPs in town. I can't really describe what I'm envisioning, but there are going to be a lot of layout changes in the near future. Going to try to make Storrs look even better.
Chief said he had something to return to Deirdre, which turned out to be her Leopard Tee, and she let me have it. Buck wanted a fruit and I grabbed him a peach, for which he thanked me with an Office Desk. I finished off the day by visiting several really nice dream towns for some ideas, and I forgot how much fun exploring other towns can be.
