Do you think that Toadsworthy is town? And do you think Evan is scum?

I think Toad is town and I'm not sure about Evan completely, but I really don't like the way he went about the interactions with Toad and now he thinks Toad could be scum? Seems a little weird even without an elaboration on his part, I'll wait until he actually posts why he thinks he could be scum but I really cant see it being anything other than OMGUS because of his interactions with Toad.

I never really thought about it like that but that does seem like a possibly after thinking about it.

Seems like a possibility but my read on Toad still stays the same, don't know about Ness right now and I probably should have thought about him more before being impulsive and calling it OMGUS but it still seems odd that you would go after him just after having a row with him and I feel as though it's what's made you look so scummy to may of us in the first place.

Also, I'm starting to feel semi-suspicious of Zendel because I dislike how he immediately dismissed Evan's theory as OMGUS, because I do think that it's good for him to have thought that scenario up.

Idk how to think about ness, except he seems to be flying under everyone's radar while being active in the thread, which seemed odd to me. It looked like we all were kind of assuming ness was good or didn't really consider he could be scum, and so my theory could help explain the diametrically opposing reactions to me between toad and ness.

I'm null reading zendel rn because yeah, it was a little impulsive of him to outright dismiss my case before I even posted it, but I have been snarky like that in the past before, and I can see why he would think I would OMGUS. Toads of all people was a bit more circumspect and waited for me to post

Tom is also a slight scum lean, although I was hovering over this for a while, he's really hard to read. I mentioned it before, when someone is costing, better still, self-proclaimed coasting, it's going to be very hard to get a word out of them or form an opinion. However, this one post here;


Is confusing to me, you're going to coast, but you still make a "defense" of sorts stating how lynching you would be a wasted lynch? I know it's nothing, I just find it very slightly odd. It seems like something mafia would say to make sure they get an extra day, y'know? If you've always leaned more to helping town, why don't you do that instead of coast by, if you're really town? The mention of "Scum!Tom" in ways to convince people you're not scum this time doesn't sit well with me either.

I mean for day one it'd be hard to get an opinion out me anyways to begin with. Everyone makes a big deal about how crucial D1 is, but I really don't feel the same way. At most it influences a little how scum directs their kills based off who's sussed who because everyone feels like we need a bunch of lists that all read the same. Day one sucks and I long for the day where we just start at night, even if that means someone dies before getting to interact with the rest of us.

I said that because it would be a wasted lynch.

13 Players - 1 Survivor means 2/3 Mafia with 10/9 Town. Everyone but Chick seems keen on lynching somebody today, so on the chance you mislynch that's less town in your favor. I don't count for town, but like I said, I always try my hardest for town as a survivor. But if in the end you and everyone else decides to lynch, I won't oppose it. Town's gotta do what town's gotta do.

Evans whole behavior seems to have changed pretty quickly and I'm not sure what I make of it. I don't really think the "he agreed with me!" thing you keep using is really a valid point though, and despite seeing your theory as very unlikely, I get where you're coming from.

OK, makes perfect sense. I think D1 is important, although I don't like it, it's hard to get reads out, we're in the dark about everything but that just makes it all the more important to make it matter imo.

Going further into Evans Ness/Toads theory..

I know that I (and others) mentioned that if Chick flips town we're looking to Evan as scum, was this whole theory a plan to get us looking towards Ness/Toads instead of him if Chick is lynched and flips town..?

While I may be off in my theory, it could help explain behavior and (more importantly) it may help us think differently about chick. What if maf is taking the opportunity to capitalize on newbie mistakes with chick as well as my crack (which usually happens once per game)? I'm not switching my vote rn as I don't really have a better option, but I would not be surprised if chick flips town, and the problem is that most of the thread thinks she's scum, so it'd be hard to determine who's maf off of that.

Course if she is maf that makes things a lot easier

It's your first game, and first games can be daunting, and difficult when there's a lot going on, but I'd like to hear a little from you before day is over, it's good to hear from everyone.

I don't really care if people lynch me after chick flips town. (Well I do, but follow me here.) That'd be a justified (but wrong) reason to lynch me and I can't really do much about that.

I do care if people lynch me now over stupid reasons (FOS, chick may or may not be good so Evan's therefore evil for pressing her when almost the whole thread is pressing chick, uh I just don't like him.)

Furthermore, say we go for chick and she's good. That doesn't really tell us anything about toad or ness's alignment since most of the players are sussing her and me anyway. It would make my theory a bit more plausible but still would be far from a guarantee.

My theory serves two purposes: to propose an unlikely scenario to explain toad and ness's behavior, and to force us to truly think about chick before mass voting her. Idk how you got that I am wanting to lynch chick so bad, when the second whole purpose of my theory is to reconsider her. Yeah I think she's still the scummiest option and so that's why I'm voting for her right now. But my vote is not encased in stone and I can change it to toad or ness or someone else should I feel they become a better candidate.

@Ness I don't want you to do anything. I'm just pointing out your contrarian opinion and a possible interpretation as to why you keep pressing it. Think of me as you will.

Sure, I'm wary of last minute shenanigans, and maybe I'm just being overconfident, but I'm feeling pretty good that we'll figure out the real mafs here eventually. Plus a vote brigade would only bring sus on the person who started it when I flip town, so there's that.
