Digital or physical edition?

i?ve always preferred physical copies but i think i might just go for the digital one just so i can play it 12am on march 20th

I went digital because I had funds from eshop cards sitting in my account and I like that I don't have to take games in and out to switch between them. I wish all my games were digital.

Physical copy since you could get it earlier and play it. Also I like having a physical copy to look at, the Cover art is really pretty.
But from a practical standpoint a digital version is better, because you don't have to swap games if you want to play.

Umm, what? Digital isn't delayed if that's what you're thinking. It will be available at 9pm PST, while Target is closed before midnight. You'll get digital early.

I'm going all digital on the switch, but even if I wasn't I'd go digital for AC.

A game like BOTW, you play a lot until you beat it, and then only occasionally. Not a lot of switching carts most likely. But AC, you play a bit every day, then you might switch to another game like an RPG or whatever. Digital makes that easy, cos AC is always on your switch.

I'm getting mine digital because it is more convienient. It is an easy game to play a few minutes at a time and it saves me the hassle of swapping out the cartridge a lot.

I preordered the digital. Usually I go with physical, but it just seems more convenient this time around for me to go with digital. I can boot up the game and play a bit daily, then switch over to my physical game I have in the Switch (usually is Pokemon Sword). I'll also be in Australia (visiting from the US) on the 20th, so it looks like I'll get to play a day earlier than I normally would

No, just that some shops give out physical copies a day before they are supposed to release.

I live in Europe, and I was gifted the ac switch which comes with a digital copy of the game unlike the American one. I?m perfectly fine with that, but I think if I had to order the game separately - I?d buy a physical copy.

I prefer physical but this time there are four of us, and after I found out you can buy one digital and spread it out to the family Switches, I’m going that route. I’ll likely get a physical on sale just to have it later down the road...
