The alien toys are going to take forever to find, I guess. Either they are dropping little by little, or I'm just terrible at finding them. Either way, 25 is quite a lot for one of these quests...and they're small...and I keep checking behind buildings and other objects to see if they're hiding anywhere weird. AND...I do think they are releasing only a few each day. Really not sure if all 25 are already on the map. I doubt that.

I’ve been playing since the drop and have only found 9. I’m glad other people have confirmed that they only spawn a few at a time, but it’s very annoying! I’m not sure why the quest had to be quite this tedious 🥲

I need to wait until I get home to buy an eShop card to get the Premium Path. I got two of the things that you can get without it but I still want to get everything.

I never thought I'd get back into Dreamlight Valley again, but since the new update I've been playing non stop and really enjoying it, plus I love the items in the new Star Path. It's also good to see that the not every new and highly desirable item will be exclusive to the Premium Shop (which I still think is disgustingly overpriced and a rip off) for now. I'm looking forward to unlocking Simba and Nala at some point this weekend, once I've caught up on all the other quests I've left on the back burner over the last few months. 😂

It's on sale right now in the eShop so I got the Ultimate edition recently. I really love The Lion King so that was a big factor in buying it. Hopefully I can get started today or tomorrow. If only life weren't so busy. 😟 If anyone has any tips for a beginner like me, I'd appreciate it. Ty!

I couldn’t afford the Ultimate Edition when the sale had begun a month ago so I got the Deluxe version and I think that they still gave me one of the Ultimate gifts for purchasing it it anyway in a note in my mailbox thanking me for buying the Ultimate Edition and for being an early player. My tip is take your time unlocking things as the tasks and quests in this game don’t expire. The characters will go home and go to sleep for the night at a certain point in the day and you can’t talk to them but you will still be okay if you are doing a quest for them as they will let you continue and give them any items they had requested the next day unlike NH where some things you must do within a time limit. Another piece of advice is just choose which characters you want to unlock inside the castle and pick the one you like best first if you have the coins and take your time unlocking the biomes.

Still have no idea what the release situation is for the alien toys. Thought I would find a handful of them today...but I literally found one. Feels like they're slowing down. Think I'm at 17 or 18 out of 25 now...and I thought I might be able to finish things off today or maybe tomorrow. But now I doubt that.

Alien toys? I haven’t seen any of those in my game.

So...I got all 25 aliens. And the reward is...incredibly underwhelming. Lol

Also did the main quests to unlock Simba and Nala.

Yeah, a lot of players have said the same thing about the reward for collecting the aliens, however it seems that Nala's level 10 friendship quest reward is the best new addition to the update so far.

You know...now that I think of it, why wasn't Oswald part of the 100th anniversary celebration?

Why doesn't Oswald get any love in general? I always liked him more than Mickey.

One of my biggest pet peeves was not having any way to save outfits, so I'm super excited for this update!

I feel like it's not something that's likely to happen, due to the crossover support they would need from Square Enix. BUT...I would love to see the three main Kingdom Hearts characters in this game. (Sora, Riku, Kairi).

I keep forgetting to open up the game and do character quests to unlock even more things during the day on the weekends. I most play games in the evening and the characters are typically at home sleeping which makes finishing any tasks for them impossible to complete.

I know this game is very new but I'm looking for opinions on the founders packs and if they are worth it. The game itself looks fun so the basic one would be worth it I think. I have looked at the different ones and none of the exclusive items hold any interest for me. The only interest I have is the currency. From what I have read moonstones are only obtainable 3 ways(and the best way is the founders packs). The other ways are a star path(whatever that is) and random drops. Of course we have no way to know how difficult they will be to get and in what quantities. So I'm wondering what yall think of the more expensive founders packs cause it would be great to get all that currency but I don't if they items are worth it. Thoughts?
I bought the game in January (I now have 800 hrs in the game)….bought the middle tier on sale for $34 reg $49. Honestly I had only been playing a short time when I wished I had bought the premium tier. AND once you buy one of the three tiers, there is no going back. You can’t upgrade to the next tier. People say “I’m waiting until the game Is free to play” Here is my take on that. In essence what you are paying for is not the “play” but the Moonstones. And even when it’s ftp you’re going to need to buy moonstones if you want to have the same purchasing power for “goodies” and they will cost the same. Or actually I think it’s a bit better deal with cost of game now with number of moonstones. Also, there is a LOT of items players are getting now that will never (so they say) be available again. Anyway in short, if you think you might enjoy this game at all, I say buy it. I became obsessed with it. And in fact that is what made me finally buy ACNH. DDLV vs ACNH: both games have strengths and weakness. Those who have played ACNH will love the ability to rotate you environment 360….something that is driving me crazy in ACNH. But DDLV does not have near the items with interactive ability that ACNH has. But remember, this game is still in the build mode so I imagine there is a lot to come. Keep in mind since it will be ftp, developers are planning periodic DLC to buy. So eventually you will have money invested in the game ftp or not. I love, love DDLV. I’m loving ACNH now, lol!
