Welcome to my art thread! I will be posting select game-related works, mostly from a world building/drawing project I've been brainstorming with @poqu , fan art, and some of my personal work. I've also posted some drawings based on my villager's conversations in my Island Journal (series currently inactive).

Commissions

I worked as a print maker specialising in silkscreen (screen print/serigraphy) and I also taught silkscreen in schools, workshops, and in my own personal studio. Sometimes I enjoy the labour and process of silkscreen a lot more than the actual drawing aspect, so I usually create works with the mindset of "how can I make this an interesting printing process". I love comic formats with wordless narratives and I enjoy making silkscreen books with interesting binding techniques. Due to the pandemic I had to move back home and since then I’ve been working mainly digitally. My digital art process is quite similar to how I approach silkscreen: I enjoy working with limited, vibrant colours and creating surreal or nonsensical settings in flat spaces. I create my pieces on Procreate and Photoshop.

I've seen you talk about it, but I don't believe I've ever seen your silkscreen work before. The town landscape is beautiful, dizzy. I love what you've done with the sky and clouds. Reminds me of the Wind Waker scrolls.

The grained look at your first piece with the orange, yellow, and blue colors Is stunning too.

Ahh thanks Mar! I try to make digital works that have the potential to be silkscreened just out of habit. Grainy textures translate well to an extent. Some textures are too small to be printed, but at least in digital formats I can spoil myself with the textures
