Do animals leave your hhp if you let them go?

Ive been watching Toby and Sasha chill in tje kitchen and dance around together and Id really like to have Toby, i dont want to loose Claude though, would he leave hhp if he left my island?

No all the villagers you invited to HHP from your island still remain there even after they moved out your island. The only problem is they don't remember or acknowledge the fact they used to live on your island.

Well no. Becuase ACNH and HHP are seperate games the villagers would not remember you. Its odd and I don't know why that is but even though you invited Toby to your island he acts he doesn't know who you are. The same thing with other villagers if you were to find them on Nook Mile Islands the day after they moved out.

No none of that stuff appears in HHP. Even if you gave like a custom greeting or catchpharse that would not be brought up again.

Even if you do invite him with the choclate he still behaves like a different villager almost as if he forgots that he lives on your island and on your island he doesn't even acknwoledge that he has a vacation home at HHP.

The only thing that makes him different from all the other villagers is that as long as Toby is living on your island there are certain things that can happen. One if he is sick and you try to visit him at HHP the game actually tells you that he is "Not feeling well and doesn't want company". Another thing that can happen is that if Toby was like moving out from your island and again trying to visit him on HHP the game also telling you that he is "busy back home packing"

Oh yeah, that happened when Marshal was sick. Since he works at the hospital he just got switched out when he was sick

But he came back when he was feeling better

Yeah that is true and that is because Marshal was living on your island which was the reason for that happening. One little detail is that they can sometimes be seen dozing which means that they haven't woke up on your island. So when you go to HHP sometimes they can be seen sleeping on the job lol.

Yeah that is true and that is because Marshal was living on your island which was the reason for that happening. One little detail is that they can sometimes be seen dozing which means that they haven't woke up on your island. So when you go to HHP sometimes they can be seen sleeping on the job lol.

So since he rooms with Sasha, if he was stuck I couldnt visit Sasha because they would still be roomates, right?

Hmm I don't know about that one. Haven't really tested it.

Villagers basically behave the same regardless of whether they live in your village in the main game. The only thing I've noticed being different are a few lines, like when you first invite them.

They don't move out of HHP if they leave your island because the game mostly treats the two as separate.

@Hypno KK If Toby learned one of my terrible catch phraises would he say it in hhp? Or like you two said, he wouldn't because their technically two different games

So I decided to let Claude go, not much Dialouge changed,

I couldnt visit Sasha when Toby was unpacking since they room, and Toby's started to use the catchphrase he learned on hhp when I talk to him . Sadly. One of the worst catchphrases.

Claude went back to using Hoppity. I couldnt visit him when he was packing. But im glad to still see him.

But thats about it. So i guess the games do synic villagers. Like you guys said. Just wanted to update
