Do you always donate your first catch to Blathers?

I always donate my first catch to Blathers, as some of the rarer fish I've never caught again. I couldn't live with myself if Blathers went empty handed for the sake of a few bells!

Yes, I always have, it makes it feel more special somehow. The only exception is the scallop which I usually give away to a certain friend in the sea.

When I see my character say “Yes!” When they caught something, my instinct is to always donate it, as selling it would be a crime on my end.

Yes! Especially if it’s something unusual— I don’t know when I’ll get the chance to catch it again. I also like donating to the museum— it makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something lol.

Absolutely. It's rare for me not to donate the first one, especially since I tend to forget if I don't donate immediately.

Happened to me with one of the butterflies - I must have sold it by mistake, then I kept on selling them because I assumed it had been donated. Wound up being one of the last ones I needed!

I literally always. It actually feels wrong if I don't. I also worry that I'll never catch that fish again to donate.

I need to fullfil the museum first so yes. When I'm fishing and I catch a new fish, I place him in the end of my pocket to be sure not to sell it and give it to Blathers. If not, I forgot I haven't given it yet even if I catch another one. I don't know if I'm clear haha.

Yes I always do. Unless I come across one where I feel that I need to have a copy ( like with the spider crab ). It's important to me to be able to complete my museum!

Absolutely! Some of the bugs and fish are pretty rare finds, and I don't trust myself to find them again. I like going into the museum once in a while to see how the museum's collection grows over time!
