I love me some beach vibes. I used to despise it because I thought everybody would stare at me and I'd feel too self conscious. Now, finally, I really really don't care what people think. I'm typing this with aloe on my face and shoulders...I thought I would be fine. I reapplied sunscreen three times..

I think besides the ocean of course, is the BOARDWAAALK. We have a huge boardwalk area and I love wasting money there, lol. It's always at the candy store, too. It's one of those shops that you fill a bag with candy and pay the weight.

I love it! Even if I’m just staring into space there’s something really theraputic about the waves, although the beach my family goes to doesn’t have a boardwalk-y area like that.

I like the beach fair enough. I live in the mountains, so it’s a nice change of scenery now and again, but I don’t like sweating so much & typically when I’m at the beach it’s incredibly hot, so I don’t tend to have very good experiences.

Yeah, although most of the time it's toddlers running around with parents that don't give a hoot or just way too much garbage. But yeah find me a nice one and I'll swim away.

I feel like I would love it, since I recall memories of playing on the beach of the Gulf of Mexico in Mississippi. But the last time I was there was back in the Summer of 2011. I remember it was during a low tide, so there were little patches of sand peaking up through the water. It was also later in the evening so it wasn't quite as hot. That was a very memorable day. I need to go back sometime...

I've been thinking about traveling to the East coast to check out the beaches, since I would love to go to one where it isn't always like 100?F outside. Though that might be a ways off.

I tend to prefer lakes and ponds over oceans, anyways.

I would love to live near the beach or a sea cliff, but I wouldn’t want to relax on it or play on it.

I voted that I hate it; I don't really hate it but I don't think it's that great. I don't like getting sand everywhere and I'd rather swim in a pool where I can grab onto the wall to stop myself from drowning than in a lake/ocean. The beach gets boring really fast. The only time I really enjoyed a beach was in Hawaii where you could see all sorts of sea creatures in the water. That was cool.

I haven't been to the beach in ages, but nah I don't really enjoy beaches because the way that people dress over there and I hate summer so yeah it gets hot and I never get to enjoy the cool water.
Last time I been to the beach is when I was 5 or 6 and today I'm way way older then 6 and 5.

If it’s around where I’m living, I prefer a pool, but otherwise, whenever I’m on vacation, the beach is the best place to go, imo. 10/10

Absolutely. Just went this evening, a bonfire on the beach mid-late evening is great fun. It's not a resort, just a long open stretch of sand with slimy stones and rockpools scattered across it, but in the nice weather it looks pretty great, and it's within easy driving distance which makes it all the better.

I love the beach because I love water in general and I love going in the sea ^^

There's nothing I like about the beach tbh. I have bad memories of the beach and also I don't think it looks that good :s

too bright, too warm, really tiring, often loud and boring. i easily get headaches when i'm at the beach and i don't like doing many beach specific activities

i actually have some newfound love for the beach!! i went to hilton head island this summer and it was so lovely. i got to watch the sun rise and i really loved going as the sun was going down too because thats when the tides high and the waves really crash into you and its really fun!! only inconvenience i'd say is getting sand on all of ur stuff :/

I voted that I liked it, the only issue I have with the beach is how the sand gets everywhere and it's sticks to you like glue:c (also the price of sun beds are ludicrous, but that's not the beach's fault).

yes! our family used to own a beach house so i spent a lot of time there. we've since sold it and my trips to the beach aren't as enjoyable anymore (i hate being wet/sandy/having tangly hair and i'd usually shower right away, so the idea of spending the day there isn't desirable to me) but i still do really love the beach and the ocean

I hate the ones where I live, they smell disgusting and the water is always filled with seaweed and it?s ugly. I?d probably like beaches in Hawaii or Tahiti since the water is clear and it?s pretty, I don?t know if they smell though.

I wouldn't say I hate it completely, but that's the closest option for me. Going to the beach is really romanticized. When my family took a trip to Southern California back in the mid 00's it was my first time going to a beach since I was really young, and I was really excited for it. It ended up being not that exciting. Sure, there are some appeals to it, but overall it was just kind of a yucky experience for me. I don't like spending time in the sun, and being on the beach doesn't change that for even one second. And then there's the sand. I underestimated the sand. It gets everywhere. And... my family somehow decided that camping on the beach would be fun. D:

Beaches are visually beautiful, and there are some other appeals like hearing the waves, but it stops there for me.

I love spending time at the beach. Sitting on the warm sand in a hot summer day and than walking knee deep into the water to cool off is the best! Lets not forget eating some hot fish n chips at the beach makes for a great day!
