For those who don't know, a compost is basically saving up food scraps(veggies/fruits/maybe meat?) and others(paper towels, parchment paper, egg shells, etc)
My plan for a compost was simple: Big bowl. Fill big bowl with compost things. Trowel. Go outside. Use trowel to bury compost things. Repeat. (Hole composting essentially)
Keyword: Was.
My mother is against the idea for what seems to be no reason. She once said "If you dug 10feet under our house, it's all trash." ...I don't really get that or what it has to do with composting but I'm not digging 10 feet to bury my thousands of apple cores. Nor do I see how that would effect my compost. I just want to be an Earth Goddess. (^_^")Side note: how does one bury an apple core without seeds growing? Dunno why but I'm questioning the possibility of a tree growing.

No, I use the toilet tyvm. Jokes aside, my mom had one and we throw our leftovers over there. Not sure what happened to it.

We used to have a composting bin with worms and a small garden on our balcony. It was fairly easy to maintain, although we did have to experiment a few times before we got the environmental settings right for the worms... sadly the first couple batches we murdered accidentally because it was too hot in the bin lol. I would like to have a compost bin again, but we live on a landed property now in a fairly dirty city... and im afraid it will attract too many rats.

Yup. My dad has a worm bin that all out leftover fruits and veggies go in

No, I don’t have one. I’m not sure we would have much use for one though.

No.

I don't want to attrack snakes or other creatures that could attack the blue tongue lizards that live in my yard.

I also wouldn't want rotting food full of maggots. :-/
