Do you have all personality types living on my Island?

I recently got rid of my cranky, Boyd, to move in some of my favorite Sanrio villagers and it feels weird to not have my cranky boy around.
Does it bother you? Do you look. more for character design?

normally i don't but i ended up getting rid of maple for deirdre. didn't have any sisterly types and with maple i had 4 normals. wish there were more spots because there's so many cute normals/peppys

I have at least one of every personality. Normal and jock are the only two I have more than one of. But I'm only planning on having one jock when Kevin moves out.

I think I'll end up with three normals if I can ever find Kiki or Lolly. The only spot I have left for the 10 permanents I want.

My island is currently without a snooty. It used to be that I thought I would have to do without a normal because I found them to be bland and unexciting. But that changed when Lolly came along. Somehow Lolly had more to say than all the other normals I've had before, and she's cute too! ♥

It's the snooty personality I'm having trouble with. I've had Becky, Diana, Greta, Maelle and Mathilda. Design-wise, I like all of them, especially Maelle and Mathilda. But the personality doesn't sit well with me. Maybe it's because snooty islanders are so hard to please. I actually like that snooty animals make scathing comments sometimes, but I draw the line at them being harsh to my lazy islanders! It's petty to have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

It did feel weird when my lazy villager moved out, but after a while I got used to it. In prior games,the lazy personality used to be one of my favorite types because of how chill they were. Now, in this game they feel more nasty than weird, imo.

In order to get over this disappointment, I decided to add more villagers that give me joy. As a result, I now have 3 smug and 2 normal villagers. I also looked at the diys given by the lazy type and determined that they weren't the effort in getting.

I actually don't have a cranky right now. I'm going to move either Fang or Dobie in eventually with an amiibo but I'm also cycling some villagers so I'll just wait.

It is a little weird not having a cranky cause I really miss some of the "old man" dialogue.

I try to but I lack patience island hopping when I'm searching for a new villager type. I get pooped out real fast when looking. Right now, I don't have a smug and instead I have two jocks and three lazies.

in the past, i went out of my way to try and have at least one of every personality type but i don’t really do that anymore and atm, i have all except for a jock and a cranky. while i definitely like variety, i mainly just invite whoever i like onto my island now regardless of their personality.

After unlocking all the reactions, I don't see the need of having all villager personalities. You're better off picking villagers instead based on design. However, there are some people here who are quite adventurous. They will invite anyone.

I try to have all personalities until I get all the personality specific reactions and recipes. Then it matters less to me. Right now, I'm missing a jock but I hope to invite one once I earn another villager's photo.

since cobb moved out my town's been jockless for about half a year! i'm waiting for teddy to show up at the campsite and i hoped that having no jocks would increase my chances but i've had no luck so far

i didn't, until i got the remaining smug & cranky amiibo cards from etsy for my birthday this year :3

i have lobo & marshel's cards ^^ to replace julian & bubbles... bubbles said she wanted to leave...

also, pashmina & rudy's cards too ^^ to replace biff & mira... even though biff is one of my starters... & i didn't really like mira all that much...

I do! And I only have 8 villagers because I don't like to have duplicate personalities. However, after I obtain their reactions, I may replace my smug and uchis with duplicates as smug and uchi are my least favorite in this iteration of the game. :x

Usually do, but I'm just waiting for Hazel to leave so I can invite a cranky (hopefully Fang) and I'm also kicking out Hornsby so I can invite Snake the jock bunny via amiibo So while I don't have all personalities at the moment, the dream to have all of them within the coming weeks!

I never did. Although I had villagers of all personality at least once. I'm not much of a Snooty fan so I only had them for the reactions. After that, I rarely get Snooty villagers, unless they're a specific villager I like.

I think I only had Whitney, then Tasha.

I don't pay attention to personalities so I don't know which ones I have on my island and which I don't. I let my villagers come and go completely randomly ...

Nah, my dream villagers don’t include every personality type. My villagers were decided based off species and color scheme, and I’m happy with my current set of villagers.

Til I get every recipe, yes I have 1 of everything. So close mostly wreaths and crowns left.

I like having all the personality types on my island. It's nice to have a variety of personalities so things don't get stale!
