I have the money, but I'm waiting until after November 7th, just to see if they announce a bundle with Smash Ultimate, as that's the main reason I would buy it.

I don't have a switch and as of right now I have no plans to buy one. I tend to buy consoles late in their lives for some reason. I didn't get a 3DS until 2-3 years ago so it's still fresh to me. Plus, I don't like that you have to pay for online play with the switch. I wouldn't use it enough to make it worth the fee, but I'd feel like I was missing out on the rare occasions when I would want it.

If New Horizons ends up being amazing and I decide I'd rather play it than New Leaf at some point, then I might break down and buy a switch, but for now I've still got ideas for new towns in New Leaf that I don't think would translate to the islandy nature of New Horizons.

No, but I plan on getting one this summer. :D

Update on this, I didn’t get one last summer, but I definitely plan to have a Switch by the time Animal Crossing New Horizons releases. I’ve just got to do some research and see how much I could get for everything I have at the moment in order to help lower the cost. ACNH is releasing two months before I graduate university, so who knows, maybe I’ll get a Switch as a graduation present. :p

I've had a Switch since December 2017. Man, how time flies. I already had Breath of the Wild, Fire Emblem Warriors and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 before getting the console itself. I got it along with Super Mario Odyssey.

I just got one and so far I really like it a lot! There are so many new games coming that I really want!

It's pretty much exactly the same for me. I'll probably give in at the end of the day, because I really want to try New Horizons when it comes out. But at the same time I'm still very much attached to my 3DS and Wii U and have games that I haven't even played on them yet.
Also, besides ACNH, I don't even know of any other games that I might want (that I don't have on another console already) other than BotW 2. Having to pay for online is also a negative for me, but if NH is anything like NL I'd really feel I'm missing out, though I doubt I'd use it enough to make it worth the subscription. I'll see if more news on the new AC and LoZ games can convince me to go for it, but for now I'm still reluctant.

I have a Nintendo switch , it's the one with the blue and red cons of joy

I do have a Switch. I wasn't planning on getting this Switch. But a lot of signs I couldn't ignore prompted me to get this Switch. I'll explain.

So back at Christmas, my brother in law bought my niece a Switch. She's not a gamer, so she really wasn't interested, but she played a bit on it. I was eyeing it at that time, but I didn't say anything. February comes and my sister pawns it. A few weeks later, I have the money to get the Switch out of the pawn shop. I approached my sister and brother in law about getting the Switch out but I get to keep it afterwards. They agreed. So I got the Switch out (it was about to be sold) and now it's mine.

The signs: Console I was somewhat interested in was bought for someone in my house who was not interested in it.
Switch getting pawned a few weeks before I, and me alone, had enough money to pay to get the Switch out.

I interpreted those as signs.

Yes, actually got it right when it came out cause me and my brother were too excited to start playing on it.

I have one. It's the Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee edition and I adore it. ; u ; So glad I waited for a special edition.

Yes, two Nintendo Switch consoles in this household. The first was the Super Mario Odyssey bundle and the second was the grey joy-cons version.

No not atm but that will change soon. My mom has decided to buy me one for Christmas after seeing just how much I love video games. I am honestly very thankful for her and I can't wait for the great games that are coming out for the system.

I do and it's my favorite little thing right now. I got back in April when Mario Kart 8 Deluxe dropped (I did not buy it though). I wasn't planning on getting a switch that early but everyone kept talking about breath of the wild this breath of the wild that. The game looked gorgeous now I wanted to own a switch. Boy during those days it was hard to find a switch though, but I got lucky and found 4 in stock at a target I don't frequent and did those switches sell out right away, hell yeah they did. While an employee was helping me a mother comes by asking if that was the new nintendo. While waiting for the employee who worked in the electronic section another lady sees us with the switch on our hands and just runs towards us asking where we got them and well she grabbed those last two for herself and a friend. Even after two years I still find it hard to believe I have one since it takes me years to obtain a console.
