I tried to start writing a journal a few times when I was younger, but it never lasted very long. But when I first started learning Korean, I wrote a journal entry every day in Korean for the first year. And now that I'm learning Spanish as well, I'm starting to think about writing a journal entry in Spanish each day. I think it helped with Korean because I had to look up words and grammar points I needed

I LOVE journals. I have way too many. I like buying journals that are pretty, saving them, and using them later. Sometimes I use a specific journal for something going on in my life, and these separate journals capture the “eras” that I go through. Sometimes if a journal has a lot of pages left and is older, I’ll pick it back up and use it, even if the previous entries aren’t really relevant to what I’m going through. My notes app is also extensive.

I’d say I consistently journal inconsistently lol. It’s an ebb and flow. Some months I’ll be doing it every day or every week, some months I forget about them entirely. I find that if I force myself to journal when I have nothing to say, it’s boring and wastes a page. I’d rather journal when I feel I need to and I don’t put pressure on myself to do it.

I used to be really into bullet-journaling. I loved keeping a journal. But when it came to writing down my feelings and whatnot, it somehow made me feel even worse after writing everything down.
I'd love to start journaling again! But.. I'm just worried it'll make my mental health decline, lol. I like to journal, just not about my feelings, I guess. If that makes any sense.

I also really enjoy writing letters! Pen-paling and bullet-journaling were all the raveee in my friend group during COVID quarantine (around 2020-2021). I'd love to pick it up again! My favorite place to buy journals from is Notebook Therapy. They have super cute designs and also very cute stationery! I love all the materials for journaling, idk. It makes me feel like I have my life on track, lol. Not sure if anyone can relate to that, or if that even makes any sense! But collecting stationery and other materials just feels nice ><

I tried when I was younger... I think I got to page 3 before getting bored and ripping the pages out so I could keep the diary itself as a collection piece.

Although I don't have any interest in trying again with a general journal, I do like the idea of starting a dream journal.

I feel exactly the same way! I dwell on things too much even without writing it down and I think writing it down would just make me hold onto the negative feelings more rather than release it. My other problem too is that I’d drop my journal and never pick it up again 😅.

I’ve been interested in trying to make a bullet journal since I saw some people made like a Persona 5 themed one and was thinking of trying to make one. But another problem is that is probably going to be a big project just decorating and i drop projects like all the time since i have focus issues 😅.
