It makes my skin crawl when people whisper, so no. I'm guessing from this thread that there other types than just what I've encountered but it still doesn't sound like something I'd like.
I hate 99% of that type of stuff, I have mental health problems and one of my major issues is that some sounds can cause me physical pain, and the biggest triggers of that are mouth sounds, and dry texture sounds , which are also common ASMR triggers. The only ASMR sounds I've found that I enjoy are strawberries being crushed, and slime videos, but even then, I don't think it triggers some sort of magical response in me, it's just slightly relaxing.
I love any asmr as long as its not food eating or like gross spit noises. I do very much like whispering, tapping, combing, and the 'ear cleaning' stuff that gets super close to the mic. Goodnight Moon is my current favourite asmr. She does ones of her favourite items, hairstyles etc but also has a series called babblebrook which is a roleplay asmr. She also has a video playing animal crossing!
Call me frickin' weird, but I enjoy eating asmr. It absolutely can't be sloppy and gross though. My favorites are the soft sounds from crepe cake and ice cream mochi. I also like sounds from galaxy ice cream bars, soft candy, and noodles- as long as there's no slurping. I frequently watch SAS-ASMR and MINEE EATS. It helps me relax, hah don't ask me why.
I love ASMR! I don't really know for sure what my triggers are though, so I follow a variety of channels to get a bunch of different experiences. I will say I tend to enjoy visual triggers to sound triggers (like watching someone else getting a massage or their makeup done as opposed to the role plays).
I didn't even know what this was, but I decided to check out a couple of videos and it really doesn't do anything for me. I neither like it or hate it, but it's definitely not interesting to me.
