Do you miss mannequins?

I really miss them. I have so many ideas of how I’d use them if they were put into this game and we could buy them with Nook Miles and as many as we want. Without the suits of armor, indoors it forced me to try to arrange the armor on the wall, though with the black slabs, it looked off no matter how well i placed them together. Outdoors i have no real options other than displaying just the armor on the ground :/

I don't think I used mannequins in NL, but I would definitely use them in NH, so yes I do miss them!

Even though I didn't use mannequins much, I do think it is very unfortunate that it was not added to New Horizons. Think about how much more town/house decorating would be possible if they brought them back! Hopefully, they will return in a future update.

It'd be nice. I could make proper full armours sets for my castle ruins, and make creepier faeries and ghosts for my spooky forest than gnomes, dollies and matryoshka dolls.

I used them in NL so yeah. They'd be great to use in market/squares, as well as any islands that have stories/NPCs.

I do miss the mannequinns! Not so much for changing outfits, but in NL I always used them as little characters, such pretending they are waitress/shop runners.. or using them to recreate a certain scene from a movie/anime/etc, and I agree they add "life" and dimension to the house!

I would be so happy if Nintendo decide to bring them back in the future. Maybe as a recipe so we can craft as many as we want? I know in NL you are limited to 4 mannequins per player, and i always wished we could have more.

I never played NL so I haven't used them before but I can imagine how creepy they could be especially if you're running around at night and forget you've put them somewhere haha

Since we dont have our own exhibit rooms in the museum to decorate, no. The only thing I used them for was to change clothes quickly and display special sets.

I wouldn't complain if they came back though. The more options the better. Especially if we could craft them and customize them into different poses.

I do, I used them in my themed homes for staged people (waitress in restaurant themed home for example).
I hope they get added back.

Yeah, I would say I miss them more in NH because I could use them as "vendors" in stalls.

It's also important to remember that mannequins are in the game (the 3d model), as you can see them inside the Able Sisters' store wearing a full set of clothing. They even have different posing.

It's just a matter of why Nintendo is keeping them away from the players, and if they'll ever become available for us to use them.

YES! I loved the mannequins and made sure all of my characters got the max amount each. I love displaying them in my house, and would be so cool if we could display them outside. I guess Nintendo may feel that the wand took the place of the mannequins, but I would rather have the mannequins.

It feels like they've purposely left out everything from NL that would make NH the perfect game, and I don't know why.

It frustrates me so much.

So they can put everything from New Leaf back in the game as an “update”.

I miss them a lot at the beginning of the game, nowdays I forget them often but still would be nice if they add them at some point (they already exist inside the clothes store after all).

My guess is in the development's eyes, mannequins were replaced by the wands (in that they carry an outfit you can change to on the whim). I do miss them a lot, as I think they are a better way to add a human touch to an area (ex: cafe staff). I don't love using the headless mannequins from just placing a cafe uniform down for example, after having known about the full bodied mannequins from NL.

Speaking updates or whatever, since I'm guessing the mannequin models already exist in-game (in the Able's Sisters), I'm hoping they have some sort of celebration of Fashion Week or something, (+Label/Gracie?) with mannequins becoming an obtainable item. Similar to how the museum plaques already present in the museum and became obtainable items via Museum Day.

I miss them too. They'd be perfect for horror-based islands and for indoor/outdoor shops. It's a pity they're missing from the game.

I keep thinking of those mannequins when I want to make a soccer field! I made a soccer stadium in NL and used the mannequins as players, but not how am I supposed to make Lloris and Son?! I have to use actual players in co-op or multiplayer, or like snapping turtles/gnomes. It annoys me so bad that I need them back rn!
