Do you need something to help you sleep each night?

I used to take Melatonin and once that stopped working for me, they switched me to a prescription sleeping pill, which I no longer take, but. Sometimes when I have trouble sleeping, I take a melatonin, as it's been years since I took it on a regular basis. However, it's not hard for me to fall asleep. I just hold a plushie real close to me and I'm already drifting off to sleep xD

With my ex, for about a few months, I couldn't sleep unless if he was on the phone with me. And when he left my life for a while (about a month or more), it was very hard to sleep without him on the other end of the phone... I will admit I became very dependent on that though, so I had to adapt to being without it...

because l basically sleep on the floor since l was 7, l would breathe in very cold dry air every night and l also think it could be mold. So instead l still use my blanket that l got long ago when l was a toddler and l use it to specifically to cover my mouth when l sleep because l won't get really bad dry throat when l do it. I think that's also why l never sleep with my mouth open. But it helps me to fall asleep because its not too cold for me. I also really like the material of my blanket, it doesn't make me so hot.

I have a single bed and a half and I have two quite small and round pillows (in addition to the big one on which I sleep), and EVERY NIGHT I have to put those two pillows standing next to the big pillow, so as to make a sort of "barrier" to protect myself. It’s very strange but I can’t sleep if I don’t do it😂

Just a curious thought, I always need an box fan to sleep. I really have a hard time falling asleep without one blowing on my face and for the white noise. When getting older I always now have to have an podcast on to listen to also to help me fall asleep. Strange I know lol
A blanket! I cant sleep if im not covered by AT LEAST a blanket... Even in summer lol i dont know it just feels weird??? I also enjoy having some white noise like a tv or something but i dont NEED it which is a good thing since i dont have a tv at my room lol

I need it to be quiet, or I need peaceful sleep music in the background. I can’t have a fan on no matter what the temperature is. I can’t have any distracting noises. I don’t understand people who need a fan on to go to sleep, even if it’s freezing. It is way too loud and noisy for me. I could never get to sleep unless I was already extremely tired and at my breaking point. I do need a blanket though. I need something covering me. I love warm blankets, even if it’s hot out. It’s cozy.

i suffer from nighttime anxiety and sometimes even panic attacks, so i definitely need something to help my brain calm down before i can sleep. i generally watch videos to sleep, usually video game playthroughs from people like vinesauce and brutalmoose and other times i like to watch gdq videos. just something that can keep my brain engaged enough to push away the overthinking but calm enough to sleep to.

I cant sleep without my little dog in bed. Big dog? Fine. I can sleep without her, usually better because it's hard to sleep with her big butt taking up all my leg room. My little boy? Can't do it. I need to be able to feel him beside me otherwise I get restless.

oh I forgot to mention this exact thing too. I need videos. Almost ALWAYS it's some vinesauce or jerma full stream lol.

I need medication to sleep. Watching or playing something on my phone also helps me feel less anxious and doesnt keep me up as i get drowsier and drowsier and eventually stop caring about my surroundings
