Do you play with headphones?

I usually play AC with earphones in, except those earphones are plugged into my laptop/phone and I’m listening to/watching something external. if I do decide to listen to the soundtrack then it’s without earphones! I think I used earphones once when it was like 3am and I didn’t want to wake anyone

i have a capture card and usually just play ac on my computer which always has my earbuds plugged in!

Usually I play without headphones but the sound turned down low so I can listen to other music from my phone. Though I do have the crank it up for fishing.

I've played with headphones a few times so I can listen to all the little sounds while playing, but usually I play with no headphones with low sound

I do actually play the game with headphones in but I voted no sound as they're plugged into my MacBook and not my switch so I can listen to music or watch something while I play. Honestly while playing NH I think I've only had the sound on once when I was registering songs on the jukebox but other then that the sound has been off, almost made it a year and I have no clue what the music is like.

I am not a fan of the hourly music but I do love the KK songs so sometimes I use my headphones to listen to them

Probably 95% of the time I now play with no sound. The first few months I played with sound a lot but now that I know all of the music, I prefer to either silently play while I watch TV or listen to other music. I often get migraines and sometimes sound bothers me and makes it worse and wearing headphones is uncomfortable. I tried a little bluetooth thing to try to get my switch to work with Airpods but it just won't pair. I really don't like any of the old wired headphones I have currently. Maybe I'll have to get a new pair and see how that goes!

The only time I'll definitely do sound is when I'm playing on the TV or if there's an event going on. Just daily regular stuff I don't feel requires sound anymore, it has to be for something special!

I used to mostly play without headphones, but now since I have a proper monitor and I'm within range, I used them all the time and I throughly enjoy it.

i'm not a fan of the NH music so i mute my switch and play music on my speaker
sometimes i play normal music and other times i'll play hourly soundtracks from other ac games like WW & NL

I do this as well, unless I like the hour theme, so I'll play without headphones or through TV speakers
The waterfalls are also too loud, and when you have quite a lot of them, playing in silence is better for your ears

Not usually, no. I usually play handheld, and living on my own means I can turn up the volume without annoying anyone. I only really turn the sound on when I really need it though (fish, balloons, etc).

When I do play docked I use one of my computer monitors, which sends the audio back to my pc, and then I can have both the game (quietly) + my computer sounds over my headset. Because playing it docked without sound feels weird, for some reason.

I always play the game without headphones whether in TV mode or not. If I do not want to hear hourly music such as 2 PM for example, I actively avoid playing during that time.

Lol you're right, the waterfalls are too loud, even though it's a very tiny one coming from the edge of the cliff.

if you could connect bluetooth headphones i totally would! i don't have any traditional headphones and don't feel like buying something so i can connect my airpods. it would be nice when i'm fishing though haha. i'm always holding the speaker up to my ear when i'm playing in the living room so i can listen for that fishy.

I play docked pretty much all the time so no, I don't use headphones. On the rare occasions I'm playing handheld it's usually out of necessity and I have a specific goal in mind, so I don't bother wasting time trying to find a pair of headphones for it.

When I play while using sound, I never use headphones. I like to put my ear to the speaker though when I'm trying to catch fish.

If they got rid of the awful ear piercing daytime music I would play with sound, but unfortunately that's not an option, so I play without, or very low.
At night I play with sounds on though.

no headphones most of the time as i'm usually playing in my room or docked where the volume doesn't really matter. plus animal crossing is a pretty quiet game when you're playing around other folks so i never feel the need to put my headphones in.

I play without headphones and with the volume turned down really low. I'll turn up the volume if I'm fishing or balloon hunting though. But most of the time, I'm watching a movie or youtube video while playing.
