so today we got SO MUCH CONTENT and so many new features that we?ve been asking for forever!! i?m super glad that we got all that stuff and i can?t wait to play it.
that being said.. this game was announced in 2018 and we were supposed to get a 2019 release. would you rather have been playing in 2019 and get more features added later? or are you glad you get all these things from the start?

do you think we would?ve had this many new features if the game had been released in q3 or q4 of 2019?

Yes definitely worth the wait. I rather wait than them to rush a game for us when were getting all of this. Watching the direct really had be blown away with new features and how easy they've made old features be.

Yes, it seems they really spent their time with the new features and everything, don't want a rushed game

Yes because this game exceeded my expectations. Just REALLY hoping now that the delay gave them time to polish villager personalities and dialogue... PLEASE

When I first heard of the delay I was obviously a bit bummed, but now that the release date is only a month away, I don't even mind anymore. Besides, the game looks incredible(the museum!!) so I'm glad they took the time to properly finish it :)

If people are complaining about having to update the game for holidays, imagine the outrage if they released back in 2019 without a lot of the cool features they spotlighted today.

I would say it was definitely worth it. They put so much effort into this game and what we saw today in the Direct tops everything from the previous AC games in my opinion. I'm pretty sure the game would have struggled here and there with issues if they would have rushed it. So I'm glad that they decided to take their time with it. After all, as Shigeru Miyamoto once said: "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.".

yeah. we saw everything we needed to for people to decide whether they want it on launch or not. idrk what having it earlier would've accomplished for me, personally. just more agony to wait hah

absolutely - there’s so many new and exciting features so it was definitely worth the wait

100%, and I guarantee the more complete game we got will help with sales and reviews.

Yes. I might even dare to say it was worth the seven year wait.

I am always in favor of games being delayed for quality. I'd much rather wait and have a better experience playing the first time, than be really frustrated and encounter bugs and unfinished features with a faster release.

I think the delay has been worth it, but it's really frustrating to me when games are delayed in general. I totally understand that games take a LONG time to perfect, but maybe they should just set a later release in the first place?

100% worth it. I was disappointed in the delay, but I understand that game development takes an absolutely huge amount of time and I know Nintendo doesn't delay without reason. Who knows, some of the stuff we saw in the direct may not have even been planned, but was added due to the additional development time from the delay.

The delay could have been the reason we can modify the island's land!

Yes definitely. This game is going to feel like a completely new experience. Only29 days to go.

yes - the amount of detail into every aspect is amazing,

Oh, definitely! You can see how much they've considered everything and really wanted to make this game the Animal Crossing experience. The new features will create more hype than any advertisement campaign ever could.

Yes absolutely worth the wait, I feel like they have really listened to us on some things that we have been asking for for ages. I cant wait for this game to release

Absolutely.

After watching all the stuff they managed to pack into this game, I can completely understand deciding to delay just to refine, perfect, or modify certain ideas

Definitely worth it. That polish time is really apparent from the direct. Love it.
