do you think you have the brain to commit a smart murder?

Meh probably not. I could plan it, but I am too nervous of a person to get away with it. A perfect murder won't help if you are to skittish to keep calm under pressure! XD

You guys are going to get on an FBI watchlist if you aren't careful xd

I wouldn't be able to murder someone no. But I think I could think of a scenario where a serial killer or something could easily get away with it.

i'd probably start freaking the hell out. but if i were malicious enough, i think i could probably get away with it.

well, ,, i mean .. i think the best way to get away with murder is to make it go unnoticed. if the body isn't found it is harder to solve the murder, not having personal ties to the victim is a good idea, if you are a serial killer you shouldn't have a pattern, you shouldn't leave traces from either yourself or the victim etc etc etc
so basically, while brains probably are important (especially in tv show murders lol), it is in the real world easier to get away with murder if you just hide it well, don't leave traces and have no personal ties or motive to kill them. ssso yyeh

i don't think i would be a good murderer. i'm physically weak, can't drive, don't have access to murder weapons that don't require me to be a skilled fighter or strong and that won't cover me in blood. while it is possible to get things that would make it easier i would need to get rid of those things too.
of course i could dump bloody clothes and whatever with the victim if i felt confident that they were not going to get found, but if they were to get found the risk of me being found out would be way bigger if they had evidence like bloody clothes and things like that.

so uh..... i mean .... idk about tv murders, i would have to think a lot and make research (which could potentially be traceable) and stuff so uh it is unlikely that i would succeed.

Anybody who answers yes to this on a public forum has already messed up, and would probably get caught...hypothetically.

I've watched plenty of criminal minds to give me an idea of what it would take ;) but I'm about the least violent person ever. Even if I'm really provoked. I get hurt all the time at work and it never really makes me react...so I wouldn't be physically capable let alone mentally I don't think ;) I'm sure when I was a kid I would consider what I would do with a body of this kid who bullied me...can't remember what conclusion I came to now. I definitely do not have a criminal mind

Does throwing a rock at someone's head and then running away really fast count as smart? If not, then no.

Let me check.

*kills someone* *runs away to Africa* *Hides under a tree* *Dies from starvation*

I highly doubt anybody is willing to kill and are willing to cover it up.

its a hypothetical and obviously i dont feel mentally capable/inclined to kill someone. note the question isnt "do you think you have the will to kill" moreso if you think, if you planned to kill, would you be capable of making a difficult to solve murder.

if your only intention is senseless murder, then its really not that difficult to not even become a suspect. creep along a roadway every day/free days until you come along a hitchhiker, and do all the standard murder/body disposing/cleaning thing. really, its not that difficult. there have been serial killers who do all of this inside an apartment building or have even had their victims get out, but they still managed to escape police and get their victims back in and not be caught for another several more victims. its really not that hard if youre just trying to kill someone youre not involved with personally at all. just a lot of work and preparation. i couldnt bring myself to kill someone, no matter what they did, so i wouldnt. but imo currently as a 17 y/o i think i could get away with a murder decently "easy" as far as disposing of evidence and picking victims goes.

Of course this is all hypothetical but I think I have watched enough shows about forensics and solving mysteries to devise a decent plan that would let me get away with it, but if course it depends on how well you know your victim, if it is someone close to you then you will automatically be a suspect and it would be so much harder. Also there are so many factors that come into play depending on how well you know the victim's schedule and there are so many things that could go wrong.... If someone asked me if I could, I would automatically say yes but tbh I don't know if I would be able to get away with it for long. I would probably try to make my plan too extravagant, but I suppose that depends on whether I wanted to just do it for the sake of it or if I didn't want to take any chances... Difficult question here! Again, totally hypothetical haha!

I believe i have a fifty percent chance of getting away with murder, i watch a lot of lifetime/horror crap to figure out how to clean and hide the mess. I won't ever kill someone though, i don't have the effort to care that much to do so.
