Definitely. My eyes are always drawn to even the littlest scratch on screens and it bugs the hell out of me. :'D
I've always made it a point to have screen protectors ready for all of my touchscreen devices before they arrive. This ensures that the screen will be protected straight out of the box.
No, but i really need to.
I droped my phone too many times but the screen is still fine because of the protector, it only has a scratch or two.
I am sure my switch will face the same fate due to my clumsiness.
yeah i tried having one on an old smartphone way back did not work. i just get phone wallets.. im pretty careful with electronics fr some reason though so idk if i will get one, if i get a switch lite
lets say this. I was overseas and bought a switch. It was like a combo with a tempered glass screen protector, joystick rubber protectors, Case, silicon sleeves for the switch joycons and a plastic casing for the switch. I didn't use the plastic casing for the joys cons of course (silicon sleeves). I bought overseas knowing that the switch isn't region locked. The game was separate of course. I bought smash Ultimate as my first game.
i definitely want one, but they're kind of expensive (at least in the shops around here). for now, i just have a clear case for it & trust that that will keep most harm at bay.
Yes I do, and a glass one at that (we discovered with my brother's that a plastic one can melt if put into the dock for too long). It also came with a sturdy case.
I'm not taking the chance of breaking the screen, or any other part of it, for that matter.
I do! A few weeks ago I got one along with a new case, skins, and covers for the joycons and sticks, so I could make my Switch look nice whilst also protecting it from damage!
I bought a screen protector with my switch, so as soon as they both get shipped I plan to add it. I don't like how scratches look, not to mention I'm usually obsessed with keeping my system looking clean, especially when it's brand new. Once it's a year or two older then I relax a bit on it, unless it's limited edition and I really like the design.
I’ve had one since I bought the switch. People used to say the screen scratched easily when putting it in and out of the dock so it was an obvious thing to do.
I HIGHLY recommend a tempered glass screen protector for your Switch. They are tougher and less prone to bubble issues.
I blame the iphone being as tough as it is for people not getting screen protectors for their Switch. Nintendo, while still wonderful at customer service, do NOT make things to last as they once did. Their products are generally on the flimsy side and the screens for the Switch, as mentioned by some earlier in the thread, are plastic not glass.
Now, while plastic screens do have some benefits (they are almost impossible to accidently crack or break) they are super easy to scratch because of how "soft" they are.
Not putting a protector on your Switch is just asking for scratches, dents, buff scarring and even sun damage to screw up your screen.
Absolutely, I buy screen protectors for every gadget I own nowadays because I am 100% clumsy
My glass screen protector for my s/lite already has cracks in it as proof of my inability to be careful with anything
Also, I have cats who like to knock stuff off surfaces
I'm pretty sure the switch has a plastic screen (?) so a glass protector is a must for me
if it had a glass screen though i wouldnt bother, im pretty careful with my stuff
yes and it’s been a life saver, I should replace the one I have since it’s cracked! I’m really clumsy, my boyfriend was the one who suggested the idea so I’m thankful lol
