This is a bit frustrating, I was visiting a friend and someone just decided to pop in which then caused an error to the visit other persons wi-fi must of crashed ><
I don't understand why you have people on your "friend"list when you actually don't like them or at least don't want them to visit you.

This. And it's not as if they have any way of knowing you're doing a trade. Maybe they just wanted to hang? Is that really rude?

if there is no way of knowing, then why just barge into their town?
When it happened to me, it was somebody on my friends lists sister (I guess they shared a town) - I wasn't friends with the sister but she had access to my town anyways because my friend did. Anyways, I was doing a trade with someone [who finally just got into my town after tons of errors] and this random girl shows up and starts running around us in circles and then proceeding to run around my town, thru flowers and all.......then we got resetti'd. Went and promptly deleted that friend soon after.
Because that's generally how the game works... you seriously think people should always have to contact you outside the game before trying to enter your town?
It's hard to ask someone if you can visit them first, when you don't have them as a best friend. I usually just drop by when I see a town open and ask if it's ok for me to be there.
If someone visits unannounced when I'm doing a trade with someone, I usually let them know and they tend to leave or ask if it's okay if they can stay. If you end up with someone who refuses to leave or doesn't ask if it's all right to stay, it might be best to just delete them.
When I giveaway villagers to other players, I delete them as soon as I've finished giving the villager to them, even if I'm not done playing for the day; it makes it easier to remember to remove them.
