Events & Collectibles General Discussion

My current most wanted collectible is a collectible that doesn’t even exist yet. I would love to see what it would look like before it becomes official.

My vision: same background as the Easter Eggs, but with orange instead of yellow. And there’s a hot dog.

Any toppings?
Would you be ok with a hotdog pun?

the last camp was probably my biggest chance at getting my most wanted collectible (something sun-themed), but alas, it was not to be! I love sun/moon duality motifs so I'd adore a line-up of suns to go with my moons

a sunflower or a sunflower wand would be a really cute replacement, though (especially if the sunflower used the same background as the other flowers, then you'd really have the duality theme going)

regarding Halloween, I'm pretty happy with what I managed to get with this event, and looking forward to Christmas❤️ I know the Moonbunny fragment is going to be so pretty I'll need more than one

Can someone tell me where to find a collectibles list with their sale value please? I have seen a couple lists but none with sale values and i want to sell some of mine and don't know what to list them for. Thanks!

Somehow, I like the snowflake wand and pumpkin wand more than the original 2016 wands. The 2016 wands are only nostalgia fuel, reminding me of the good ol’ days of 2016.

Does anyone at least know how many Yellow/Blue rocket pops were sold/exist? (Because it has a glitch where it says 0 were sold for both of them) I want to know how many exist so I can know how many times I should bother trying to date trade them.

that's not a glitch. any items that are specifically designed to be distributed by the staff always show as none of those ones staff had to distribute being sold

so really, we don't have a clue. best we can do is if someone has the total tickets sold, but even then we don't know how many were set to each color (though presumably, blue pops were far more common)

I realize which collectibles are really scarce. The disco ball egg and galaxy egg. If you have a hard time trying to get the 2016 glow wands, you’ll have an even harder time getting these two eggs, which were sold 14 times and 28 times, respectively.

I hope these two eggs make a comeback, and not as raffle prizes. There needs to be much more into circulation.

tbf, their numbers are *slightly* higher now, with the egg decorating contests. but they're still pretty crazy low

I would very much argue the heart and star wands are far harder in terms of regular hunting down though. flower, maybe on about the same level

Yeah, glow wands are pretty popular as a category. Eggs are somewhat popular, depending on the design.

Like I say, it’s not about how much you’re willing to spend on one. It’s more about if they’re willing to sell theirs. That’s why they’re so scarce. And I’m 100% against bullying/forcing people into selling their collectibles or guilting them of “hoarding” collectibles. If they want to keep their collectibles, they have the right to do so.

I think the zen egg and paradise egg are pretty rare too.
I think raffle prizes are pretty fair though. I've seen some in the past that had like 10 or 5 winners but if they can pick collectibles from a list, they may not pick those and pick something else that is more their taste and whatever they pick, they will probably keep because they picked something they like.

yeah, I'm positive I've seen far more disco/galaxy egg movement over the past couple of years, regardless

ofc they're all in the crazy hard af to find if you don't just luck out. "regular" hunting above, essentially meaning obtaining through normal perceived value transactions. vs anything like a giveaway or simply another user handing theirs over for whatever reason they so desire. which ofc is all perfectly valid, but also shouldn't be taken as indicators of value or anything

that said, it does feel like at this point that you basically need the stars to align in finding the right person as opposed to having a deep wallet in order to get anything like this

someday maybe, we can get another egg hunt just focused on rereleases and maybe a wario egg as the solely added new one. as well as a fair that is just a 2013-2017 collectibles runback, no new except the patch

Now that there are nine glow wands, wanna rank all the glow wands from best to worst?
Here's my personal ranking. (from favorite to least favorite)

Crescent Moon Glow Wand
>
Planet Glow Wand
>
Star Glow Wand
>
Pumpkin Glow Wand
>
Enchanted Butterfly Wand
>
Skull Glow Wand
>
Heart Glow Wand
>
Flower Glow Wand
>
Snowflake Glow Wand

Love the space and Halloween ones the most (though the black on the skull wand seems a little out of place). The butterfly one has nice colors and I like it more than I thought I would, kind of sad I didn't spring for one during the fair.
I can't unsee what Lambda said about the snowflake wand looking off because it's too small.
