Here’s my list:

• #1 - Crescent Moon Glow Wand
• #2 - Snowflake Glow Wand
• #3 - Pumpkin Glow Wand
• #4 - Planet Glow Wand
• #5 - Flower Glow Wand
• #6 - Skull Glow Wand
• #7 - Star Glow Wand
• #8 - Heart Glow Wand
• #9 - Butterfly Glow Wand

Obviously, the Crescent Moon Wand is going to win it all because it’s an animated collectible, but of all tradable collectibles, I would put the seasonal ones higher on the list, especially fall and winter ones. Butterfly wand will go last, and is the only glow wand to be out of my top 50 favorite collectibles.

Sorry to say about the Star Wand, but it looks too basic compared to the other wands (not only that, it’s a yellow collectible, and yellow is one of my least favorite colors). The only reason why it avoids being in last place is because hearts and butterflies aren’t my favorite symbols.

i couldn’t decide whether to rank the pumpkin wand or flower wand last, but i think i like the flower wand the least. i feel like the halloween wands get a lot of flack because they look so seasonal (pumpkin wand especially), but i like them. my only problem with the pumpkin wand has been me struggling to pair it with any of my other collectibles, but the orange crescent moon, jack, and pumpkin cupcake have been helpful! the skull wand has a lot of lineup potential for me as well.

the snowflake wand being slimmer than all the others throws me off a bit, but i also like that one. i’ve actually come up with a lot of lineups with it that i love, so i regret not grabbing one during the 2021 christmas event, lol.

i probably would’ve ranked the planet wand lower if it hadn’t released with a bunch of other glowy, night sky background collectibles to pair it with, but it’s pretty!

i don’t see any wand or collectible in general ever topping the crescent-moon wand for me. i’ll forever be beefing with 14-year-old me for not being talented enough to win one, LOL.

Ooh count me in, I love making ranking lists ;w;

- I love the soft rainbow-y colors of this one! It's v cute.

- This one's very classic, and the gold and deep blue background look really good together.

- I agree that the topper is oddly small compared to the others but I love a wintry aesthetic, and I think it's got a nice elegant look overall.

- You had me at "pumpkin". I love Halloween aesthetics and pumpkins/jack o' lanterns are pretty much an instant like from me. Also I'm firmly on team "more orange collectibles" so even if there's not a lot he goes with right now, I appreciate the work he's doing!!

- I'm not always in the mood for cutesy but the pink and dark blue really do pair wonderfully.

- This one seems like it'd be a little hard to work with to me? But I like green and nature-y vibes so I think it's still got a lot of potential.

- DON'T KILL ME it's pretty but it just feels like a little bit too much to me—some people really make it work though!!

- It's fine, but I feel like I just don't have very strong feelings towards it. Maybe it'll grow on me in the future when I've seen more lineups with it though!

- It's pretty and glowy with excellent colors and it definitely has a lot going for it, but it looks a little bit crooked to me and I can't get past that

Tbh though I'm actually not that much into the glow wands—they're pretty and I like seeing what others do with them, but they don't really appeal to me personally.

I just came here to say, I know it hasn't been long since the Halloween event ended, but I'm interested in seeing how the value of the Carnival Pinwheel changes. I saw one member who sold theirs for 3k tbt, and I see that Jhine7 has it listed in his shop for 7k. obviously at this point these prices are based on personal value, but over time the prices will actually be dictated by market value and I'm curious to see how that goes. especially since the original pinwheel is so coveted (idk if the carnival pinwheel could reach such a god-tier status but we shall see).


anyways, I suppose I could also do a wand ranking before I have to leave for work! most to least favourite, top to bottom:

- hands-down my favourite wand of all time. it's so glowy and colourful and sparkly!! it's simply beautiful. I know the wand handle kiiiiinda looks a bit askew but it personally doesn't bother me at all. I adore this wand.

- I actually used to not care as much for this one, but I have a sentimental attachment to it now since it reminds me of @/Foreverfox, one of my closest friends.

- again, very colorful and cute, I love it. I'm not quite as attached to it as I am with the Planet and Heart wands, but I still think it's one of the best wands.

- weegee weed vibes haha but seriously, I hope I can get one someday, I have some wonderful ideas for it!

- as @/Merielle said, this one is classic and elegant. it reminds me of the Star Rod from Paper Mario too, which is a big reason why I like it so much!

- I'm still happy that this finally got turned into a collectible after I (and a few others) wished for it during the Holiday 2019 event. I don't really use it much myself, but I think it's cute and I love how the soft blue of the wand matches the dark blue background.

- I don't have much attachment to this one, but I think it's wonderful nonetheless. I can appreciate more orange and spooky collectibles

- I kinda feel bad putting this one so low on the list, but I dunno... I'm just not that big of a fan myself. I do enjoy seeing it in others' lineups though, people come up with some really nice and uniform lineups using this! also I have a lot of friends who want one (manifesting one for the lovely @/Xara) so I know it means a lot to them.

- this is the only wand that I really don't care for. I just don't vibe with it. but I can certainly see how/why others do!

Has there been any word on when the key lime pie collectable will be tradeable? Or will it remain a mystery. Also is there any way to know how many key lime pie collectables exist?

it'll probably become tradeable with its next rerelease. maybe this year, if there's a thanksgiving event with it as a prize. though the pumpkin pie was a 2 year wait (released as a prize in 2020, rereleased as a prize in 2022), so maybe not

I do like tier lists like that. I love how you two used it on glow wand collectibles.

It’s very interesting that glow wands play a much larger role on TBT than they did in Animal Crossing. They were only present in ACNL, and they were only available in December. Additionally, they did nothing other than being showy. But on TBT, they are the most popular (or one of the most popular) type of collectibles, and they have more glow wands than ACNL did.

There’s a couple of Animal Crossing things that had a larger role on TBT than in the main games. Like Zipper T Bunny, pinwheels, and eggs.

I noticed that prices for newer collectibles are going down and down. Even by the standards of the 2016-2019 community (when the site was less active), prices for new collectibles weren’t that low, even for the collectibles with less stock.

I know the staff have repeatedly said that low activity and lack of new AC game is why there’s less TBT into circulation, but what does that say about the richer, more active members who have no intentions on buying anymore collectibles? What about the fact that the spike in activity after ACNH’s release didn’t have the same impact on the TBT Marketplace like the spike in activity after ACNL did? I also don’t understand why newer collectibles have a much lower demand than older collectibles, and how nobody even wants the collectibles that are lower in demand.

I wish there was a way to fix this.

ooooh! here's my "ranking" wands are one of my top favourite collectible sets

-- i love youuuu~ she's so perfect and cute

-- magical and gives me barbie fairytopia vibes in the very best way, the colours on it are so perfect

-- so refreshing and beautiful

-- the perfect shades of blurple, ilu

-- a classic and so pretty but so expensive...sadge

-- would be ranked higher but it's dropped lower in solidarity for eluding @Xara

-- wish it was a bit fluffier looking but pairs so nicely with other blue + white collectibles

-- spooky but not too seasonal (you can get usage outside of halloween!)

-- ranked last only because i struggle fitting it into lineups

Extremely unpopular opinion time!
I'm 99.99% sure I am the only person on TBT who dislikes the glow wands and doesn't care about any of them, no disrespect to whoever worked really hard to make the art for them. Please don't come @ me

Oh this is fun! Here's my ranking:

I just love the animated collectibles, this one looks so good paired with the enchanted blossom - bonus when their animations align and they change to the same colour!

Anything rainbow is a winner in my books

This one often gets overshadowed, but I think it looks so elegant and pretty!

Love the colours, but it looks slightly wonky, otherwise it would be up there with the butterfly!

It's a classic!

Pretty indifferent about it. Heart wand looks quite plain to me compared to all the others. It gets a little boost from me because it's pink. I like seeing it in other people's lineup though!

There's nothing wrong with this wand, I just don't really like how intensely green it is ^^'

Not a halloween girly so not very interested in halloween collectibles in general.

I never liked skull motifs ;u; but I can see the appeal of it for people who like the aesthetics
