Ready for a nice, relaxing Christmas.

I really like how this ended up coming together with the frilly skirt, since it looks like flowing water.

Maybe a bit simplistic/fewer clothing pieces than other entrants, but the concept came together the way it did and I felt like anything like a hat or purse would be extraneous.

my character is wearing a festive sweater to celebrate Bhodi Day!

Every December, many Buddhists in Japan and around the world celebrate Bhodi Day, to commemorate the Buddha's attaining enlightenment while meditating beneath the Bodhi tree. My character's sweater design depicts a silhouette of the Budha meditating beneath a Bhodi tree with festive lights, and the sleeves are golden to symbolize illumination and enlightenment.

My character's outfit also includes a knit hat, satin pants, vivid socks, and comfy sandals, sticking with warm goldish and brown colors, keeping the festive Bhodi tree as the centerpiece of his outfit.

I hope everyone has joyous winter holidays^^

So for my design, I wanted to go with an old favourite: Tortimer!
Since this time of the year for me is a time for family and rememerance, I thought there would be no better way to remember my favourite tortoise than by immortalising him forever in knit form! You just know he would be the kind of grandpa to knit his own face and "catchphrase" onto cringey christmas jumpers and make his kids + grandkids wear them in the annual photo haha
