Gamers' Lounge Subforums

I don't understand why everyone's so against a joinable group. It's practically the same thing, except you don't see the threads unless you're in the group. Like I said, it's a win-win. No problems at all. Why so against it?
If we did joinable groups. Storm (Jeremy :p ) Would get completley bogged down with entries into them. It would take weeks to get everyone situated.
With subforums Boom come post.

No, Jeremy can pick leaders for the boards.

Because, it would be awkward to talk about different topics in the same group.
Also, some people might not get into the groups. There'd by like fifty groups for three topics.

I haven't noticed many Brawl topics at all. .-. Anyway, there are far more Nintendo fans at an Animal Crossing forum than there are Sony and Microsoft fans. Animal Crossing is a Nintendo franchise, with lots of cameos and references to other Nintendo franchises, and it's only on Nintendo consoles, so it's only common sense to allow general Nintendo talk. But Sony and Microsoft games and consoles are completely unrelated, and shouldn't be thrown into the mix, unless they'd be completely optional.
Now just try and tell me there isn't that many Sony fans. That's a good sum of people, and that doesn't even cover the 360/PC people.

Secondly:

The Town
-Gamer's Lounge
-Nintendo Wii and Virtual Console
-Nintendo DS
-Legacy Systems
-The Museum
-Off Topic
-Brewster's Cafe

Hmm. I think the Town is the "Off Topic" category.
I didn't say there weren't many Sony and Microsoft fans. I said there were more Nintendo fans.

And do you see "Gamer's Lounge"? That's the Sony and Microsoft forum. Use it. There's no need no make more.
Mighty small living space there, seeing as that's PC/360/PS3/PSP/Past Consoles Not Ninty crammed together. And then look at the fat happy Ninty boards that rarely get new posts other than the Brawl threads.
This is a Nintendo-themed forum, though. That's why Nintendo gets its own forums. If you joined this forum, you must be an Animal Crossing fan, so you must not have a problem with Nintendo, so there being multiple Nintendo forums shouldn't be a problem.

I still stand by my joinable group suggestion.

What do you mean? You could have one group for Sony and one group for Microsoft.

No...?

And then you have no place here since you're a Sega/Sonic/LoZ fan.

it might DIE like the youtube group is another reason.

Joinable groups is pretty much a no-go, Im leader of EPIC and the amount of control is minimal.

And Tye, why do you care if theres sub-forums??

People make theese topics anyway, now it's just easier to find them... O.O

Because his eyes bleed when he looks in Active Topics for threads to comment in.

It wouldn't die if there's stuff to talk about, and you say that there are so many Sony and Microsoft fans here, so I'm sure there wouldn't be any lack of discussion. >_>

...

Well, if it's that easy to talk about an entire system of games all in one topic why don't we just make the Nintendo Wii a joinable group then since a whole board is obviously not needed.

Again, the group leader system isnt great, very little control on the board...

I know, but I was just putting it out there...Tye sounds serious

When Tye has his mind set to something he will write 5 books explaining the same thing.
I say we just vote and let the topic die.

And anyway, whats the point of having a forum if one of the most active sections of it is blocked off to members of a certain group???

Minus the muscles and coolness factor. He's just immovable. He closes off all possibilities for anything other than his own ideas.
