Holiday at Harvey's

Who doesn’t love a little stroll around the chilly night to go see the Christmas tree with cup of hot chocolate!

It is Christmas Eve, and several residents of Woxton decided to try to stay up alllll night to catch a glimpse of Jingle, as he delivers their eagerly awaited presents. Audie and Wolfgang are having a moonlight conversation about their latest favorite books. Lolly and Raymond are watching the trains together, and naturally, Erik couldn't help but want to watch them as well. Raymond said he could, as long as he, "doesn't get the train all sticky." Wox, the in-game name for my 16 month old son, Nicholas, (yes, lol, I made him a character) is wearing his favorite handmade cape and handmade crown that he made for Mommy. He is playing by his tent, waiting for his new toys. Fauna is watching the beautiful snow globe from her favorite chair, and Marshal is playing with the puppy plushies, his secret favorite. I am spreading Christmas magic and cheer, by delivering smiles everywhere I can. To all who read this, I hope today finds you well and that I've successfully brought at least one smile to your day. 😊🥰

i just have a small question, because of my idea. if someone was to take multiple photos and make a storyboard, but have it all be one photo, would that still be acceptable?

No, the entry must be one unedited image of the room. Feel free to share your storyboard in a spoiler if you'd like! It will just not be considered during the staff favorite review.

So, I was watching that one Christmas special from my favorite comedy sketch show again today and had the very silly idea to recreate the room where one sketch from said special took place. And yes, I even tried to recreate the two comedians who are the mains of the show (for anyone who's curious, they are the two gentlemen from my profile pic, ahem). I had at first another idea for this event in mind, but then I realized it was too difficult to implement it compared to this idea.

I teamed up with several other residents to set up a very classic holiday-themed scene. It took us way longer to make this work than we thought it would and the lighting was being an absolute pain, but we can all be proud of the results! This will make an excellent postcard. Happy Holidays from Narnia. ^-^

Just noticed that Eloise is getting struck by lightning. Oops?

Ughhhh!

I just can't wait until morning to open these presents! I'm sure Jingle wouldn't mind if I opened them before daytime....Right? Whatever, I can't leave any evidence of my early gift opening for Jingle, Bob said he makes the bugs spy on you to see if you're good or not. Did he put bugs in my house? Oh my gosh, will I be on the naughty list next year? Too late, I'll just open the rest of these.

I hope this counts, I haven't played so I have nothing that's winter themed.

Christmas is in summer over here and traditionally when there aren’t bush fires like last year, my friends and I all head to the beach on Christmas Day.

Made a toy day beach celebration- it was a bit too hot outside so we brought the beach indoors at Harvey’s. There’s a bbq in the left corner of the picture as well for lunch.

Late one night while anticipating the arrival of Jingle, a steamy mug of hot milk ready for him, my neighbor Carrie and I dozed off as she read a fairytale to her son, who had also fallen sound asleep. The book falling from her paws to the floor with a gentle thud, the soft, orange glow of the fireplace wrapping us in its warmth, we continued sleeping. Time slipped by in its unhurried way, and peace filled the cozy little abode.
