How Did you Originally Come Across the Animal Crossing Series?

Sadly this is something I've been thinking about but really just can't remember. I remember the first day I ever played it, but I don't remember why I was so excited about it or who told me to get it or anything. I was very young and I was on the floor in my living room playing Wild World and telling my mum about it as I went through the opening, and I was amazed Kapp'n knew I was a girl haha. I also named my town a place because I didn't understand the question. :') Good times.

my cousin was visiting from out of state and let me play with her ds lite. she had a wild world town she rarely played and i fell in love with it. next time she visited she gave me the ds and all the games she had! it was super awesome, id never had a nintendo console of any kind before that.

When I was like 8 I had a babysitter who showed me a nintendogs game, which led me to get a 3DS. I then learned that she also had an animal crossing game, so she I grabbed $20 and she took me to a GameStop to buy it. I originally bought it just so I could play with her, but I came to love the game on my own and I still play it to this day, even after I was old enough for her to stop coming.

I really wanted a DS for my birthday after years of only having the gameboy colour and advance. My friend had the DS and i was so envious of Animal Crossing! I finally got it for my 9th or 10th birthday and I've been hooked since!
