How Do Clothes In The Shop Work?

Hello. Is there a way someone els's clothing can be displayed in your Able sister's shop for villagers to wear? I know in New Leaf visitors could come and place them themselves, even though you couldn't place someone els's. Is this still the same with NH?

It's the same as in NL I believe, people can add their designs to your Able Sisters but you can't add other people's designs. Also you can't remove a custom design once it's been placed, it must be overwritten with another custom design. The devs did a really terrible job with this imo.

Only the creator of the design can place it at the tailor. Unfortunately, if you’re terrible at custom designs like me, you’ll need someone else to place theirs in your shop. I had someone place hockey jerseys in mine, and I love my villagers wearing them.
