I'm going to be a buttkiss and speak up as a former staff member on multiple websites. Although not refilling the shop has become a joke among the Bell Tree residents, the staff do have lots of work that they have to do every time they log on, even if they just want to socialize and be just another Bell Tree resident. Do you see the other thread on the Bell Tree HQ where Cent needs help to find the hundreds of spammers? If the staff had enough time to restock the shop, they would instead be finding the spammers for us, because (as a rule of thumb) the staff care about the websites and groups that they moderate enough to try to take care of things themselves. If a staff member wants to correct me on something, then be my guest. Just a little perception sharing from a guy who also moderates a little.

I think the majority of us know that there is a lot of work behind the scenes (and sometimes out in the open like Cent's thread) being done by the staff. Prep work for future events, handling fights, taking care of reports and communicating with users. If people have forgotten admist the jokes, this ought to remind them. That said, I don't believe any staff members can restock the shop outside the admins (or at the very least aren't supposed to). With Jer presumably busy with real life and behind the scenes work and Justin was on a well deserved vacation, there's not much time to spare to restock the shop understandably.
