I like classic peanut butter and banana, but I've recently been doing plain cream cheese and sugar-free strawberry jam. The cream cheese/jelly combo is fantastic.
I'm an 8! I want my bread lightly and consistently toasted. I like both butter and jelly as toast toppings—and a combo of both butter and apple jelly is one of my all-time favorites. ;v; I like some more savory toast options too though. Sometimes I'll put some guacamole on my toast, or even (hear me out on this one) pickled plum paste, if we have any.
I tend to eat toasts closer to number 6! I have a few toppings that I enjoy a lot: butter/margarine and garlic, butter/margarine and banana, and hummus with avocado and cherry tomatoes!
It was hard to choose because I like butter, jelly, and peanut butter on my toast but I voted for butter since it's most versatile (you can eat it with eggs, etc)
although!! a pb or jelly + toast is almost a complete meal, which is also powerful...
1,4,2. I love burnt foods very much and it's my toxic trait. I adore a good jam/jelly on my toast, but sometimes a wee bit of butta for an upset tummy that won't take other food just hits the spot. Toast is a great food for me to enjoy on days that my GERD is acting up.
Mmm this is a hard question. If I just want some food in my belly I will do toast with butter. If I need something more filling I will do a toasted PB and J. If I have more time to make something, then it's avocado toast for me (completed with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes... and maybe an egg if I have more time)!
toastiness-wise, i’m definitely either a 5 or a 7! i’m like my dad where i like for my toast to be quite toasted (to the point that it almost looks burnt), but i don’t want it to be actually burnt. i usually just have plain butter on my toast (buttered toast is such an underrated snack), but i occasionally like to have it with strawberry jam or peanut butter!
I'd say my toasty number is somewhere between 6 and 8. 1/2/4 are absolutely inedible to me.
Generally I just have my toast with plain butter, but my preferred topping would be cinnamon and honey together. It's been years since I had it, but I remember it being amazing. Cinnamon/sugar/butter, honey by itself or jam by itself are good toppings as well.
