How do you eat toast?

3 or 8 for me, and I usually do just a light spread of Earth Balance with olive oil.

I’m a 6 I like it just every so slightly crispy but not to the point where it’s turned brown. As for a topping just plain old butter really hits the spot I find.

I like my toast around a 3, usually with a light spread of butter and a spread of jelly on top. Being able to pick only one toast topping for this poll is tough but I went with jelly as my #1.

Oh I'm gonna get controversial I think, Butter and Nutella. Butter before you toast it so it's still soft in the middle, and nutella mixes nicely with the flavour of the butter I think (I am NOT a butter on poptart guy tho, that's just disrespectful.)

I like my toast at 3 or 8, but unfortunately my toast usually comes out between 1 and 2.

During the initial toast it always comes out as a 9, which is way too pale for me (and somehow upping the toasting time doesn't help make it toastier). So after that I usually go for a second round of toasting, planning to leave it in there for only for like 20 more seconds, IMMEDIATELY forget about it, run off to do something else and come back to the kitchen all confused because I smell something burning. :]

As for toppings I like almost everything in the poll, but also savoury things like cheese, pickles etc etc.

It depends on my mood and time of day. Sometimes I'll do avocado/guacamole with some hot sauce. Sometimes just plain butter toast is nice. Sometimes I'll do jelly or whatever else added.

I usually only eat toast with butter when I eat spaghetti. Toast tends to leave cuts on the inside of my mouth, so I try not to eat it often.

I'm like a 6 or an 8, though sometimes even a 9 because warmed bread is nice sometimes ;; and plain butter. butter has such a nice flavor!

9 is the ideal for me. Not a fan of any black on toast. |D I said other for condiments since I don't have a go to anymore. I used to like pb and honey, but honey aggravates my allergies so I had to cut back. I usually put (plant based) cheese and veggies these days. I miss the peanut butter though, maybe need to start pb and banana on toast...

I like mine 3/5/7 and my favorite to put on it is probably just butter! But I also love jam or pb. I used to love putting cinnamon on my toast but I don't think I've done that since I was a kid, nowadays I'll just buy cinnamon raisin bread
