How do you feel about the look of new horizons?

The graphics look like the beta version of New Leaf, and I have to say, I don't really like it.

Maybe soon, we'll have improved graphics, as this is only the beginning.

I think it looks unfinished. I have faith that they final graphics will be much better.

I was a little put off by it at first glance but after watching treehouse live I really like it. It'll prob get some improvements though

I don't know how to feel yet. It looks a little too smooth. I'm hoping by the time it comes out it will look a little different. Right now it looks like how New Leaf did before it came out.

i really want to like it so i hope it'll grow on me. i hated the crafting but after watching the treehouse gameplay and seeing u dont HAVE to craft makes me somewhat happier about it. the graphics are stunning though!!

The art style has this sort of, soft feeling to it. I love it and I'm super hype for the game. I can't wait for the game...

"Soft" is a great word for it. They're really going to go for the "relaxing" vibe in this I think.

It has a very plastic feel about it. The sand seems a bit off especially. However that river water looks fantastic. Hopefully they will either improve more until March or they will grow on me by playing.

Where did you all get the information that crafting isn't neccessary (e.g. for getting new furniture items)? Is it because Nook sold the same tool that the girl crafted? I didn't have the feeling that this always applies. I got the impression that the tools could be bought as well - nothing more and nothing less...

Based on what they said on treehouse live, it seems that they want to provide the option of crafting or buying for most things.

I thought the graphics looked okay. The one thing that stood out to me in the trailer was Fuchsia. When the villager was talking to her, it looked like she was glowing and in focus. So I'm guessing the focus of the screen changes to what or who the villager is engaging with? It sounds like a nice idea. Also Fuchsia was glowing. Not sure what that was about, but hopefully it looks good in the final product.

I think the style might still change and become more detailed/refined when the game gets closer to its release date. If not, I could get used to it. It looks pretty good.

One of my main wishes came true: placing furniture outside! I was so happy when I saw that. I find the crafting aspect a pretty nice idea and I think it would really make the effort worthwhile when you finish building something. I think it also fits in well with the deserted island theme, which I'm not really a fan of so far... But maybe I'll change my mind when more features are released.

Despite the game looking a little flatly coloured (for now), I think it looks very nice. The trees and flowers moving in the wind, the water...^^ Also it seems we get to pick a variety of skin tones this time around, which is something a lot of fans were hoping for.

I was pleasantly surprised. Heck, if they keep the "rolling" look that's been a staple feature since Wild World, this is a good upgrade from New Leaf. I'm longing for the day Nintendo's going to make it a fully, immersive, 3D world though, ? la Zelda.

It definitely looks wayyy different than I thought it would. Still very nice though. I'm liking it more and more each time I look at it

I like it but then I miss the old graphics where it wasn?t like that. However, I don?t like crafting and that?s the reason why I don?t play pocket camp. I just feel like Animal Crossing is becoming more like Minecraft.

But, the worse part is that I?ll have to wait till 2020 to play it. :(

While I also think that the artstyle is rather minimalistic and the colours are soft and look toned down, I somewhat like that. The graphics remind me of City Folk which I really liked. It might look empty to some because the grass lost a lot of texture and thus looks a little flat. But this might be changed until they release the game. However, I really like the realistic approach on the weather. Rustling leaves depending on how windy it is? And moreover, look at these gorgeous water details! f.JPG

The weather is one thing I'm really excited for. I have always wanted wind in the game. I noticed in the trailer that based on the shadows and lighting, you can tell where the sun rises and sets and watch it go across the sky just like in real life. Items now have shadows that change depending on this and you can watch the shadows of clouds drift across the ground. I hope this is actually included in the game and not just made up for the trailer because I really love that aspect.

Omg this game looks amazing so far!! It probably is an unfinished product since it won't be released for another 9 months, but if it already looks this great, think about what the final product will look like!!

This might be weird for me to say, but it still seems very reminiscent of New Leaf. I think New Leaf set the direction in terms of how Animal Crossing games will be designed.

A little strange after being so used to new leaf, but I’m really enjoying it! I absolutely can’t wait to see the like, heavy storms or snow or rain or shooting stars in this, I think it’s going to be /gorgeous/.

It's strange, but good I think. I will have to get used to it but there are a good few features I'm really excited about! Such as the wind, the new flowers, the new tools, .. It looks nice. I'll just always have a special place in my heart for New Leaf :)

I do hope we get to enjoy a main town though with shops, etc. so we don't only have to craft items.
