How Do You Feel About Vegetables?

I hate them. One of the reasons is because I am very picky about food textures, and mushy foods is one of them.

I like moth vegetables, cucumbers being my favorite (they have seeds so it’s technically a fruit but whatever) and probably sweet potato, mushrooms, and eggplant being the least favorite. I don’t mind eating them though, they’re just kind of, well, ew.

Vegetables are hit and miss for me. Like I love some vegetables like carrots, corn, celery, green beans and potatoes, but then there are others I hate like onions, mushrooms and peppers.

Do you like them? Hate them? Do you wish a specific one would disappear off the face of the earth?

I like most vegetables. In particular, I love squash, brussel sprouts, artichokes, and parsnips. The only vegetables I can think of that I don't like are peppers and beets.

Love carrots, onion, broccoli, lettuce, cucumber, sometimes tomato, peppers, chilli :)

I love most vegetables and can at least tolerate most others, though I don't like celery and onions. Celery is okay in soup and I can deal with some onions in salsa, but I prefer to avoid them when I can. I like eggplant depending on how it's cooked, but the seeds really bother me texture-wise—I have a similar texture problem with tomato seeds, especially in soups and sauces, even though I love tomatoes.

I like a lot of vegetables, but am picky with others. I don't like the texture of mushrooms and celery. I can tolerate zucchini and eggplant, but I'm not very fond of either. My favorite vegetables are broccoli, bell peppers, onions, and various beans.

I eat them a lot only because they're healthy, not because I enjoy them all that much. Saying that, sometimes my body just craves vegetables lol, they do make you feel good after eating them. I guess the vegetables I eat the most are: carrots, onions, peas, spinach, sweet potato, green beans, sweetcorn, tomato, bell peppers, and mushrooms.

Super love my veggies, especially with a roast dinner! I loveee broccoli, sprouts, and sweetcorn the most. 🥦

I love carrots. Hate brussel sprouts, I don't get why so many people like them D: ew.

They make me 💩💩 a lot and sometimes it’s even exaggerated, but I feel good eating veggies once a day everyday💗🥦

I love brussels sprouts, always have even as a kid. People always think I'm weird for loving them because I think most people don't like them. I also love asparagus., avocado, mushrooms, yellow squash, and sweet potatoes. Most of the other vegetables I can either take or leave but I still eat them sometimes because I know they're good for you

I like a lot of vegetables. I love carrots, beans, peas, squash, sweet potato, peppers, cucumbers, etc. Too many to list that I like. I don’t like olives and I’d say tomatoes if it were a vegetable. I prefer veggies over meat.

I can't think of many vegetables I don't like. Some I don't like cooked (broccoli, spinach), and others I don't like raw (onions and mushrooms), but that's about it.

Growing up, my favorite was raw lima beans. My neighbor had a garden, and he sectioned off an area that my brother and I could go into whenever we wanted to pick veggies. It was mostly stuff that was easy to nibble on right on the spot - cherry tomatoes, green beans, peas, lima beans, carrots, etc.

We thought it was great. It wasn't until years later, I realized we were nudged into eating more veggies by it.

He also grew rhubarb. My mom would make strawberry-rhubarb crisp from it, but I also remember having a stalk that we'd dip into a Dixie cup of sugar and just gnaw on that. Makes my mouth water, just thinking about it.

Did you know that there is a substance in some vegetables called PTC which causes veggies like brussel sprouts to taste incredibly bitter to some people? Its just like how some people think cilantro tastes like soap! Anyways I am a "taster" and thus find brussel sprouts, raw broccoli, and arugula completely inedible since they are so bitter to me.

Other than that, I like all vegetables except zucchini!
