How Do You Feel About Vegetables?

My taste for vegetables has grown over the years but I still don't like raw tomatoes. Even the cute little cherry tomatoes taste gross to me. I do prefer my vegetables cooked and incorporated into meals rather then a chunky raw salad.

I'm a vegetarian, so I like most of em lol

I'm kinda iffy on things like tomatoes (ik they're actually a fruit) and anything with a similar texture, cause certain textures just really bother me
I like them if they're sundried, though

My favorites are probably carrots (especially raw), cucumbers and broccoli. I could eat them all day, especially if I have a good dill dip for them : P

I crave them and need them for most meals, mostly for dietary reasons. There are some that I prefer cooked/boiled/steamed only (like potatoes), some that I prefer only raw (like celery) and some that I love both ways (like carrots). The only vegetables I dislike are yucca and radishes. My favourites would have to be cucumbers, carrots, and most of all: pumpkins. I can eat just about anything with pumpkin in it.

i LOVE vegetables! my favourite is parsnips, they are sooo nice ♡
i also like broccoli but only with gravy, carrots, brussel sprouts, potatoes, cabbage and probably more i can't think on rn

asparagus and cauliflower are the worst though, they taste horrible

i love them! granted, i haven’t tried every single one that’s out there but from the ones that i have tried, there isn’t really one that i don’t like. :’>

I’ve always loved my veggies and generally I can find a way to prepare and/or cook them in a way to make them tasty for some of my pickier friends. There aren’t any veggies I can think of that I particularly dislike, they work well in so many dishes!

I'm not strongly opposed to many vegetables I'd say, although for the most part I tend to prefer eating certain vegetables raw instead of cooked (carrots, peppers etc). if it's super soft I'd just rather not eat it (I'm the same about cooked fruit but that's a separate argument)

I like eating a lot of vegetables, especially carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, aubergine (eggplant) and courgettes (zucchini). In general I prefer all the my vegetables cooked but I do eat carrots raw a lot of the time too.

I can handle the texture of most of them when they're raw, but not when cooked. In this case, raw carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers and such are a good snack every now and then.

A few that I cannot eat at all unless they're puréed (and occasionally sifted) are tomato, zucchini/courgette and eggplant/aubergine, because when they're not modified after my wishes, they make me gag because of the texture. (SPD + being a picky eater = worst combination ever in this case!)

As for beans, I only like a very selective amount of kinds of them: chickpea, regular pea, baked beans in tomato sauce, and jelly (even if that's not officially a genuine kind of bean 🤪), and I only like corn when it's either popped or in a cracker 😂

A few vegetables that I occasionally eat cooked and somewhat modified (with spice and/or bacon) include sprouts, asparagus, beet and oxheart cabbage, then they're scrumptious as ever 😋🤤 especially sprouts are yummy when you bake the frozen equivalent in a wok with a few ham/bacon strips.

I like most vegetables but there's some I'll only each when cooked in a particular way. I don't like eggplant and won't eat it even fried, roasted, or stuffed. But I'll eat it if it's baba ganoush.

I like buying the frozen vegetables so I don't have to worry about using it before it goes bad. Peas, broccoli, and sweet potatoes are my go to sides for pretty much any meal since we always have at least one of those three around.

My favorite thing to do now is to roast brussels sprouts with bacon laid on top of it from this recipe from Babish. https://basicswithbabish.co/basicsepisodes/last-minute-thanksgiving

I like some vegetables! When I was younger I hated them because my dad would just throw them in a little pot & boil them. No seasoning or anything 😔😔

For “cold” vegetables lol I like spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, and carrots! Off the top of my head anyways. The first couple I like to put on wraps (I eat spinach more often than lettuce tho) to eat and I think they’re yummy.

I’m not super well versed with all the different vegetables, we just sort of but the mixed frozen bag and call it a day. For supper a lot I’ll cut up potatoes & carrots then roast them in the oven after they’ve been seasoned. If I’m making soup I’ll use celery a lot cause I like it in soup. I also really like roasted peppers and I like mushrooms too.

Basically as long as my vegetables have been separately seasoned/cooked I’ll like them tossed in with anything. I’m not much of a chef so usually I just have some on the side or in a dish that wants them mixed in (soup, fried rice, pasta dishes), or sprinkled on top (like pizza!) 🥰

Except for broccoli and green beans. I don’t like those. I don’t like the way broccoli feels when I eat it and I just don’t like green beans 😔

If you asked me when I was a kid tho I would’ve told you I only liked cold carrots and peas lol.

They're fine. I could never be a vegetarian...but, I appreciate vegetables the same as any source of nutrition. I think the problem many Americans have with vegetables is just how they are traditionally presented. It's always just a pile of them on a plate, next to the other food items. Like...meatloaf, mashed potatoes...and a pile of brussels sprouts. Thus, you get the cliche "eat your vegetables" trope. Whereas, vegetables are honestly best used as a flavor or texture enhancer. I feel like Asian cuisine does a much better job of using vegetables IN their dishes.

I absolutely love vegetables, way more than fruits even. My top favourites would be broccoli, mushrooms, green beans, cabbage, and corn. Especially those little baby corns I love those things so much.

The vegetable that I don't like would be peppers. Bell peppers are just gross in my opinion and as for spicy peppers I just can't handle the spice.

I love most veg. Only one I'm picky about is the onion. Huge fan of broccoli, zucchini, carrots, green beans, celery, Brussels sprouts, and asparagus in particular. One or more of those is always in the house.

Used to hate carrots but now I love them. Still can't stand mushrooms, and I always pick them out of meals like a kid.

I’m not too crazy about cooked carrots but other than that I like most vegetables in one way or another. I think any adult who says they don’t like vegetables at all are just bad at cooking. Texture problems I get but you can cook so many veggies in so many different ways that the “I haven’t touched a vegetable other than a potato since 2005” people make me roll my eyes a little.

Love them. Can't think of any I don't really like. I prefer to eat "light" feeling foods...and I especially can't do foods that are "heavy" without plenty of greens/veggies to balance it.

I used to dislike vegetables when I was a kid. Now, I like some of them. I enjoy eating tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach, broccoli, carrots, green beans, peas, potatoes, green onions (scallions), and others that I can't think of.

I don't like raw onions, but caramelized onions are good. I like celery, but I prefer them with peanut butter.
