I'm terrible with exercise, I don't have the motivation for it very often and where I'm from (scotland) it's usually freezing cold so going outside for walks/runs/whatever isn't a lot of fun (also doesn't help that I am incredibly vulnerable to the cold even on "warm" days). Honestly wonder if my body understands what part of the world it is in, because it ain't evolving to match the climate lol
Atm I try and go out in the garden as often as I can. I just recently got a new football (after accidentally kicking the last one into a thorny hedge which deflated it...) so I've been kicking that about and trying to get better at keepy uppies. I am still terrible at keepy uppies, but it has been fun
i read it as exorcise at first and was like wut 0.0
as for exercise...im not a big fun of exercising rn >.< i used to enjoy it but i just can't be bothered to do it lately it feels like a hassle cause im really busy and feel like i have other things to prioritize so it ends up being the one thing i know i should do, but i never do... Sometimes i dance in the mornings if im home alone though xD
Before COVID I use to like going to local yoga studios! Wherever I was I always made time to do yoga at least once a week, even when I studied abroad in college. I also love dance and use to take dance lessons in college, and figure skating lessons in middle school through high school. Now since COVID I just go for walks a few times a week with my dog
I have always hated exercising and avoid it when possible >.<
I walk my dog at least twice a day, and in an attempt to keep my muscles from withering away I do 20 squats and 20 push-ups a day. Other than that, I don't exercise much.
I've actually read that it's a bad idea for someone in my situation to exercise anyway, since I'm underweight currently I should be using as little energy as possible
I don't drive...so I walk everywhere I need to go. I also don't live in a city or anything like that...so, when I'm walking, we're talking about going up and down mountains, to the next town over, etc. So...I consider that a pretty good chunk of my exercise. It's about 2 miles in either direction to the nearest town. So...that's not a whole lot. But, it's a nice walk. I also do a fair amount of yard work. Digging holes, chopping wood, mowing the lawn, weeding gardens. I don't do much in the way of "conventional" exercises. I do have a decent amount of free-weights, a benchpress, a deadlift bar, a rowing machine (in the old T-bar style)...and I use that stuff sometimes...but not as often as just doing general work in the yard.
i walk my dog and i do online pe class where i have to exercise alongside a video that's playing and record myself. one time i had to record myself doing difficult yoga poses and it was painful af
I don’t like exercising.
I love walkathons though, but I can’t quite convince my family members or my friends to come with me to them anymore, and it’s not fun walking them by myself.
I try to vary my routine and focus on different things, but I generally like simple exercises I can do by myself that don't require much extra equipment. I took kung fu for several years, so I still do a lot of the stretches and exercises I learned there, even if I don't practice the actual techniques much anymore. I also like to just walk while listening to music, or do exercises with my weights to improve my upper body strength.
Then while browsing Instagram I did saw roller skating video and that ended up to me buy my own skates. Now I do roller skate and try to learn basics and by doing that I get the exercise.
I also every now and then turn on my Xbox and play some Just Dance.
Walking is my only form of exercise, and luckily my job requires me to be on my feet (along with a lot of heavy lifting) most of the time so I don't feel the need to join a gym to keep myself relatively fit. However I do miss swimming which was something I used to do a lot as a kid.
I used to love hiking but started kind of getting paranoid about bears and falling off cliffs Now for exercise, my boyfriend and I just do workout videos at home together every single night. Besides that and work (server in a restaurant), I don't get much exercise.
I have my stationary bike for daily excersices. I try to do more excercise on the ground and with dumbells, but I just can't get myself to do something out of my own volition. I do ab excercises like once a week, I need to work on my arms too...
