I typically say “eye-ther” and “n-eye-ther” but I’ve been caught using both.

What do you say?

Ee-ther / Nee-ther

Or

Eye-ther / N-eye-ther

I usually say a combination of the two. Ee-ther and N-eye-ther. It’s strange, but it’s just the way I’ve always pronounced them. :)

Ee-ther / Nee-ther mostly, I think I've said the other type too.
It's most likely a context thing. I know if I'm talking up a storm I'll likely be saying it as Ee-ther / Nee-ther.

I use both pronunciations regularly. I don't really know what makes me use one over the other at any given time...maybe it's based on my mood, the context, or the person I'm talking to. There are certain pronunciations that I believe I favor in certain phrases. I think I'm more likely to say "ee-ther way" and "eye-ther one", but I have no idea why.

I usually say eether neether but if I'm talking to someone who says eyether nyether sometimes I end up using that too lol.

I have found that we typically use both pronunciations for these words. I’ve noticed that throughout. My lifetime, but it is interesting to see that it’s the same around the world. (or at least in The Bell Tree community anyway, haha)

Not sure really. Living in sweden I don't usually speak english.

I use both too I think? Thinking about this was super jarring for me as I genuinely couldn’t pinpoint which pronounciation I actually use lmao

I don?t care. Either one.

"Eye-ther" and "Neye-ther". I'm not sure, but I think it might be a regional thing, because it's mainly what I hear others say.

I almost always say it with the ee

pretty sure the only time i use eye is if i’m saying ‘either or’ and I have no idea why

Ee-ther / Nee-ther is what I usually use. I forgot there were multiple ways to pronounce those words.

I'm on the double EE team ;) Unless I'm talking to someone who pronounces it the other way, since I tend to take over their accent hahah

I'm inconsistent and tend to go back and forth between the e and i sounds.
