I pronounce it like bowl in my head when I read it, and I do use it sometimes when somethings not funny enough to laugh at but I appreciate the effort, and only with friends/family. I also pronounce lmao as lamaow, rofl is roffle. I never say each letter individually. The only one I ever say out loud though is lol. And I don't use it in text oddly enough, I only ever type haha.
I honestly use it in all the ways listed xD I do that with a lot of acronyms though because I think it's funny. For example, for ikr I say it like ick-er because I think it's funny :vv Anyway, I chose other though because most often my friends and I say it like "leels, lools, or lels"
I’m honestly very happy I’m not the only one that uses “LOL” I’m casual conversation. It didn’t seem too weird, in my opinion. I can understand why most people do not actually say it in conversation and why they find it a little weird, but I still use it anyway. It’s more of a habit now anyway, and I will let it slip out sometimes. I’ll just deal with the weird looks and “did you really just say what I thought you said” faces.
When I was 15 I used to say "lol" as it's written, it was pretty cringey. Nowadays I learned to say L-O-L because that's kinda the point of an abbreviation, similiar to xoxo and the likes.
Lawl OR L.O.L. but mostly LAWL. I don't say it too often in conversation unless it's like a meme conversation, cause that's a thing right? I think it depends on who I'm talking with or what about. Because I'll often just say "that's funny" if it's not funny enough to laugh at, which is the instance that I would use LOL in a conversation, where it's funny but not laughing funny... ya know?
