How do you read "Hehe" ?

omg i always thought everyone pronounced it as heh heh... that's so interesting!! :0
and yea native language is probably a large factor for me, I don't think filipino has long vowels so we pronounce all letters as short vowels. if we wanna say "hee hee" we actually type "hihi" (my friend loves using hihi)

It really depends on who's saying it. Like ik my friends and what way they'd say it, so I read it based on that. But if I see a random person online use it, I go with whatever context it's in.

I've always read it as hee hee because, like you said, you'd pronounce "he" twice.
