Been a bit since i last commented. Mine is about chest length now. I feel like it grew a lot since October. I plan on cutting it when it is warm again. We'll see.

my hair is armpit length but it used to be longer. i used to have layers but i finally got that undercut i’ve been wanting which required me to shave the longest layer of hair i had.

this is when i lift up the rest of my hair. if i’m wearing my hair down it’s unnoticeable which is the point because my hair used to be so so unmanageably thick.

i am 100% happy that i got an undercut despite people telling me not to because apparently the grow out process is a pain. well, i never want to grow it out.. doing my hair is so much easier now.

It's currently shoulder length and my goal is armpit or chest length. It hasn't been longer than shoulder length since I was like 10 years old, I think. I cut it into a pixie again in March 2024 and have been growing it out since a couple months after that. I actually love having short hair and had a pixie for 7 or so years. We'll see how long I last before I cut it all off again!

Mine reaches till JUST above my shoulder and near my neck, but it curls and looks shorter, so not really sure if it's neck length or shoulder length lol.

At the moment, it's down to my natural waist. I kind of like it around that length. If it gets to my hip bone, it needs to be cut, lol. 💇‍♀️
My hair did get down to my hips so eventually I found my way to the hairdresser! I accidentally encouraged her to cut off more than I intended (completely my fault) and now my hair is down to my chest. It's around half the length it was before getting it cut. 😬

I like the way it looks, but I haven't had my hair that "short" since I was a little kid, so it's taken some adjusting. Even now, it's still strange to put my hand behind my back or at my waist and not feel my hair there!

On the plus side, it's been easier to maintain, I suppose.

I did the same thing a few months ago.. I went to the hairdresser and told her to cut off like half of it, and she asked multiple times "Are you sure? Are you sure???" and after cutting it she asked if I was okay, I was a little confused at the time because it really did not seem like that big of a deal to me. Turned out my hair did get cut quite a bit shorter than I liked but it's nice to have hair that doesn't get itself in a tangled mess after simply putting on a hoodie

I'm really starting to miss my long hair though.. I'm even having dreams about it 😭 It's probably gonna take like 5 years for it to get back to its original length!!!

My hair is waist length at the moment but I really really want to get it cut to at least my chest! It's really thick so lately I haven't been wearing it down at all, it's either in braids or up in a claw clip. 😭 Otherwise I feel really hot and sweaty around my neck and I hate it.

Aaah, I feel this so badly!!! It feels like four months later, my hair has barely grown! I know it has, but it doesn't feel like it. 😅

My hair used to get caught in the car door, or in the retractable seat-belt of the car, or it would get caught in the car window when winding it up! It was definitely harder to maintain. 😂 I think my hair looks nice at this length, but it does still feel strange to not have what I would consider "long hair" (even if comparably, it's still probably considered long).

I really understanding missing your long hair though, so I hope you can love your hair at this length!! I'll set a calendar notification to check in with you in five years time!! 🥲🫂

I had my hair at shoulder length for a while but had so much split ends that I had to cut it short. But with my hair being curly and thick. It's definitely easier to take care of.

I have a coworker who has her hair to her hip. She complained to me about the downside of having it that long. I'm like ok I'll cut for you. She said you do. I'll shave yours off.. I still tease her about it but she knows I'm joking.
