How many profiles do you have on your one game?

I have two extra profiles in my account because I have an obsession with creating little facilities around my Island.
I broke up my house to be a small set of apartments and the other one was a hotel.
However I might add a third extra profile to make a sushi restaurant with a new customization feature and I might call it The Sushi Palace.
What do you guys have extra houses function as?

I have two as of right now! I used to have three, for extra storage and more buildings around - but two suit me just fine right now.

I have 4 extra profiles, I just like having more houses to decorate.
One is a museum gift shop with all the DAL items and every fish and bug model
One is a sportsbar/diner/tikibar/arcade
One is a toysotre/christmashouse/santa's workshop
and the last one is a haunted house/ halloween party

Personally I'm not a fan of using extra houses as buildings. Don't think they look good.
And I've more than enough to get on with for 1 character.
Plus I can't connect with more than 1 character.
So I don't need more

I don’t have the update unfortunately. I lack the necessities to get it, like WiFi.

Have 8. I barely play the others, though. Mostly I wanted buildings I could use as facilities or to use items that don't fit the theme of the rest of my island. I have a chapel to use the wedding items, a cafe, a nautical themed house, a Japanese style home, and a couple that aren't yet complete. With HHP it's a bit unnecessary, but I liked being able to explore different themes.

I currently only have 1 I MAY get other profiles but I just doubt it as I have more fun just getting progress talking to villagers and building up my island as I feel having to build up each character would be a royal pain ;-;

Just the one! In new leaf I had two so I could make a schoolhouse, but I'm not sure what I'd do with a second house now.

You don't need to have 8 profiles with Nintendo accounts. You can just create another "offline" profile without ever linking it to a nintendo account.

so i guess i don't need to make a 2nd, 3rd & 4th email account, for Anko, fukube & aka, my other characters for my 2nd island, then :>

Only one. I've had my cousin start her character in my town before she bought her own Switch and transferred her character over.

Main Island-3 houses Just added the 3rd before the update.
2nd Island- 4 houses
All players play as regular players. 5 out of 7 have completed their creatures and most of the DIY recipes.
Just needed one email account for each switch and added the other profiles as children. Those profiles have Nintendo accounts.
