How much are yall spenting on Black Friday?

No TVs for me! I did spend like $150 though, got some really nice deals for the 'rents at Kohls and then did some online shopping on Amazon for my little brother and I got a second gift for my dad. I feel like I need to get some really thoughtful gifts this year because I love giving people things that I know they're interested in and idk it just makes the money spent worth it to see the people you love genuinely excited (Although I hate it when people wont give me a general idea of what to get them). Anyways, for my mom I got her a kit with different face masks (peel off, mud, charcoal, the works) and different hand creams, for my dad I got him a cigar connoisseur book and a Hell's Kitchen cookbook because he's very into cigars and Gordon Ramsey, and for my bro I got him some dorm decorations (LED lights, bluetooth speaker) because he's currently a senior! I'm feeling super happy with what I got today and I'm hoping to make one last stop at the mall the week before Christmas to maybe pick up a couple more gifts (lol it's how I show my love best)
Here is your "only person doing black friday shopping" award

if you had a post here that I missed sorry anybody else

Didn’t spend anything on Black Friday, but I did buy a 5 pieces dining set (1 table and 4 chairs) online for CA$370, which was listed under the pre- Black Friday sales... not sure if this counts! Was about time we got a new table. 😅

I never do black friday shopping. I hate crowds and shopping in general and this year I've already done a significant amount of my Christmas shopping online.

I did go grocery shopping (and was rewarded with toilet paper!) and spent about $120 on that. I also spent 650 TBT bells on a black mushroom collectible and two black roses. But I don't guess any of that counts.

I didn’t buy anything. There’s really nothing I needed and after spending $700 on a new phone, $300 on a spin bike, $450 on two Takara Blythe dolls, $300+ at Big Bud Press and $550 on Kenner Blythe Doll, I pretty much don’t have anything left to spend.

I've already finished my shopping, so I didn't even bother to check the sales. I bought a TV a few years ago, when my 12-year old set bit the dust, so I didn't need one of them, either.

Alright so pretty much nobody (almost) actually went and bought something for black friday, and the rest were just doing regular shopping

Surprising, then again we're in the middle of a pandemic

I didn’t. I was going to hunt for a PS5 as an early Christmas present, but they sold out before I woke up.

I assumed the PS5 and Xbox would pop up a lot in this thread but I guess they're all sold out quickly along with people not going outside

£350. £150 of that was gifts for other people.

There are a couple of items I have been patiently waiting months for in hopes that they would be discounted for Black Friday - and all except two of those items (one of which I bought anyway to save on shipping costs later) were on offer. My one responsible adult purchase was a chest of drawers, which wasn't discounted, but unfortunately it's a necessity.

I saved my money anticipating that black Thursday (yes that's exactly what I meant to say) would have some great deals. My brothers and I bought Splatoon 2, Fire Emblem 3 houses and Stardew Valley for 26 each which was a steal. We weren't too sure if Splatoon 2 would be fun, but ultimately we decided on combining our money to buy it :)

Can't wait to try them out!

I’ve paid a total of $0 for Black Friday so far! I wanted to buy more Animal Crossing Amiibo cards, but they were all sold out and they have no idea when there will be a restock.... :(

$0. despite being an impulsive buyer, i’ve never really cared for black friday and since i’m also trying to save money, that gave me more reason to not participate this year aha.

i bought one of those huge yankee candles for less than the price of a medium one c: (still expensive but i like to tell myself that i saved money on this purchase)

$3
Dog Treats. lol I wasn't planning on spending for black friday but I happened to be at the store to get some stuff and saw BOGO on dog treats.
🤷‍♀️

I spent like 92 bucks(half off)+ shipping on an art kimono-style jacket i really wanted.. basically it.

I spent a whole $0 on Black Friday. I'm not an impulse buyer, and sales don't entice me to buy something unless it's something I was already looking at beforehand.
