Everyday where I strolled the depths of hell which is cryptically enough a field of flowers.
Ohhh dye
I've dyed my hair about 6 times in my life. Blue, green blonde, red high lights, and purple twice. As of now I have my natural color because of job however.
Oml, I use to dye my hair all the time. Like from age 9 to age 17. I would change it every few months to a completely different color, meaning I had to bleach and then dye every time. I think I have had every color possible, and I use to do whack combos of them too. If I could go back, I would have never dyed it at all.
I never had anything super bad happen, HOWEVER, I use to have a very nice curl pattern when I was younger, but after all the bleaching and dying, my pattern is a lot more straight and that was not worth it. I hated curly hair when I was a kid, so didn't pay attention to my hair getting straighter, but as an adult it sucks. I miss having curls. Now it's waves that just look unkept...
So far I died it twice, from dark blonde to brown and then dark brown. Definitely didn't like the second dye job, but it got lighter quick enough. Right now I really want to try a medium blonde, but I think I might wait a couple of years for it.
Never dry my hair before completely. I only used to had highlights sometimes and that's it. I like my actual hair color, so there is no reason for me to dry it.
I have never dyed my hair and probably never will. Can't say that the idea is wholly unappealing, but it seems that some hair dyes contain carcinogenic chemicals, and I don't have a strong enough desire to dye my hair that I'd want to go research which dyes are safe and which aren't. I also don't particularly like the idea of damaging the hair. So, yeah, not for me.
