How often do you upgrade your phone?

i've upgraded my "phone" like, twice in my life. a samsung tablet to a samsung galaxy a3 (mini tablet) to an edge s7

I have only had one smart phone. And I've had it since Jan-Feb of 2013. It's really getting up there with age and it's going to die soon, so I guess I'll probably be buying a new phone this year.
