Hey everyone,

Wow our first weekend in over! That went by so quickly! Did you guys have fun? What did you achieve? :)

I gotta say I’m really happy with the game so far. It’s really pretty and relaxing for sure. I’ve been working hard to get things going at a steady pace. I’m not time traveling and I like it a lot more that way. Focused mainly on getting buildings up this weekend so that’s fun! I can’t wait to do more! It’s addicting. (๑╹ω╹๑ )

It was all about waiting for my game to come in... :/ (my copy has yet to arrive...)

I had a great time. I traded with friends to get all fruits and now I have a full museum, 3 new house plots, Bianca moved in and I like her a lot, nooks cranny is built. I’m keeping a diary to track all notable events and it’s looking pretty full!

yeah it's soooooo good and everything i hoped for. except the part that i miss rover & isabelle already. i'm not in a hurry as well, playing at a steady pace. just paid my first loan and plotted the villager houses. currently trying to get punchy to move in, but whew there's so many lazy villagers. it's kinda annoying because i'm putting on hold other activities just to get tickets (missing island visits paid by bells)

Compared to other people, apparently not a lot lol. Must be a lot of TTers out there.

Me and hubby are at the stage where the three plots are built. Now we patiently wait while praying for the town hall, or should I say the hourly music that comes with it.

Game is absolutely stunning and so polished graphically. I have to hand it to the devs, even though they've cut some stuff they probably shouldn't have, you can tell (especially if you happen to be a long term player) that they actually listened to peoples complaints from the old games. No more perma dirt patches, almost everything being relocatable, cliffs returning and a whole heap of minor annoyances not being repeated.

I had a lot of fun exploring my island trying to envision the changes that I plan on making when I eventually have the tools to do so. I feel like the game is going at a good pace. I enjoy planning, and since I haven't yet figured out what I want to do with my town yet, it's nice that I have some time to explore my island before I have the ability to change things up.

In terms of decorating, there are so many new things and furniture, I just excited to start discovering as I start to figure out what I want to do with my island.

Yeah not a TON but I got some stuff accomplished. I get Blathers tomorrow. I've upgraded to my first house and nearly paid it off. I've visited only one random island and met Marcel who is hopefully moving in soon.

I've done a lot of fishing and bug catching and planted some flowers. Got all the weeds.

That's about it so far in Calla Bryn.

it's going really well!
i've managed to pay my loan off every day (i'm at the 500,000 something one now so i don't know if this streak will continue), and i've caught the stringfish/oarfish/coelacanth! i kinda wish i had chosen a map with more space at the bottom because my three new villagers literally live in one vertical line LOL

Oh no Neechan that is so sad! Hopefully it will arrive soon :)

I also worry that I haven't achieved a lot compared to some people. But everyone progresses at different speeds. As long as you are enjoying the game, that should be all that matters :)

For the first time ever im really into fishing. I'm finding the game so relaxing at its current pace and I'm excited to get more of my villagers in

Grindy.

Day 2 of the tutorial was the most challenging as getting supplies for Nook's Cranny was a bit of a chore.
Day 4 of the tutorial was too simple, so more time for fishing I guess.

I've been fishing non stop, and paying off my house loan each day. I haven't timed it, but I probably make around 100,000 bells an hour fishing.

After work today, I start day 5 of the tutorial. Hoping for something good.

I was a little sad my museum didn't get built right away, I think its because the nook shop went in the same day? And all the islands i visited were the same native fruit/flowers!

I loved my first weekend! The graphics are just so stunning and I had a lot of fun just running around and exploring my island. I have no problem with the slow pace. I like having the time to build everything up; I don't want to be done with the game in two weeks! The longer I'm still discovering new things, the longer I will enjoy it.

I'm really enjoying this game a LOT. With the crafting, customization, and building your island from scratch, it feels like there's a lot more to do than there ever was before. I'm looking forward to when some more customization options open up. Even something as simple as bridges - I have the mandatory one under construction, but there's at least 1 other spot that is dying for a bridge. I hope I get to build one there soon.

Compared to other people, apparently not a lot lol. Must be a lot of TTers out there.

Me and hubby are at the stage where the three plots are built. Now we patiently wait while praying for the town hall, or should I say the hourly music that comes with it.

I'm not TTing and am the same as you for progress. So don't feel bad! You're not the only one!

I do feel like a lot has changed for my island in the past few days despite that though, especially 1) compared to the progress after 3 days in previous games and 2) that we started with less than previous games.

I'm enjoying it so far. I got my museum and Nook's Cranny unlocked. Other than that, I've been having fun fishing (what sorcery are you guys pulling to get good fish? Everyone keeps saying they get hundreds of thousands of bells from fishing - literally how?). I also like doing the Miles+ rewards - I know they're a bit polarizing at the moment, but I like being challenged to do things, and trying to fit them into my existing plans.

it went really well! my home has now expanded twice, i have the museum & the shop, and two of my three villagers are moved in. they're all quite nice and i've planted a lot of trees and flowers, so the island is looking pretty lively already!! i've caught a lot of fish and bugs, too.

This game is too friggin addicting! I tell myself I'll play an hour, then next thing I know it's been like 3 hours.
But regarding the actual game, I'm having a blast crafting and running around my island.
I especially feel super accomplished, finally catching a tarantula and being able to put it in a museum!

I have loved it so far. I like the new things they have added, it makes it just different enough to be fun. I look forward to what is to come. I like the slow feel of the game.
