How wide do you make your paths?

I generally do 2 wide just because those line up with the bridges and stairs

Pretty much this for me as well. 2 wide has an aesthetic that I like, especially when you wind and curve them around certain pieces of furniture. There are a select few instances where I have them as 1 wide, but it's pretty rare.

I'm sure 2 is the most popular answer here, but I like to make mine 3 across sometimes. Not sure exactly why, but I just think it fits my island a little better!

My Main Street is 3, but it curves around to head back and goes down to 2. That branches off to the villager houses, which are 1 tile, and plenty wide enough to run on.

I pretty much always use paths that take up 2 spaces wide. Only place I've done differently was 3 wide leading to the museum as it's doorway is extra wide.

Mine are always 2 spaces wide. I don't think I have anywhere on my island that is 1 or 3, but I could never imagine going any wider than that. Maybe if there was a park or something I had built on my island, but not the case for me.

There's a couple places where I have paths that are 1 wide, but they don't travel for very long

I use 2 wide, but visited a friend's island who used 1 wide in the majority of her island, and it looked amazing. She was able to fit so many tiny nooks and crannies and I'd like to start doing that on my island!

I do 2 wide! Sometimes 1 for smaller areas, for similar reasons as above -- it lines up well with bridges and stairs. ^^

This is also what I do, and for the same reason. I love using one tile paths for snaking through small or foresty areas.

Sometimes I'll also do a mix of 1-2 where the majority of it is one tile, but I'll then add little indents every few tiles for a seating area off of it.

Usually 2 wide with a few 1 wide side paths, now that i think about it i dont have anything wider unless its like a plaza but i love wider paths.

Two tiles wide. I only use the dirt and dark dirt paths in my island, and aside from the two "secret" paths/shorcuts (which are one tile wide because it makes more sense), I use two tiles wide paths everywhere.
