i just got seashells?

Seashells are a way for users to get a free name change or other forum add-ons if they don't plan on ever changing their name. Right now we only have 3 items in this category, but more will be added in the future. Like Oblivia mentioned, this will be officially announced soon, which is when you will be able to spend them on any of those 3 items.

Just curious, how does one person out there have 30 seashells then? Are you able to transfer them to others somehow?

I think they only give you shells again at your second year. they don't give any more after that.
